I love York. It is such a brilliant city with so much amazing history. My most favourite time to visit York is at Christmas as it has such a lovely atmosphere with lights and decorations all over the city plus it does make me feel like I've stepped into A Christmas Carol. All it needed was some snow and some carolers in Victorian clothing and it would have been perfect lol.

Lovely video. I'm surprised you didn't show the Roman Fort underneath the York Minster? .they Found whilst doing Repair work..I was there for a week I February. Love York .

wonderful video's, and editing and background music, just found your channel, im binge watching, get up to date. i live in the north east england, county durham, people from the north east go to york alot, its a big weekend travel spot, stag and nights are very popular, or just away for the pub life, we are quite find of a beer or 5 in the north east, bit of a culture here

The Monet painting is usually in London where you can see it for free. It’s on loan this year to York but you have to pay there.
