9am start isnt un usual it's just there different in Scotland for some reason

9am is unusual for us since we’re Scottish 😆 I believe it’s 9:30 in Scotland because the cafe at Pollok parkrun (the first Scottish event) doesn’t open until 10am, and as the social aspect of parkrun is very important, the decision was made to have the slightly later start.
