As a volunteer fire fighter, we went a lot of vehicle accidents. Dealing with a patient who says they are fine when you know they are not is always a challenge. In one accident, the patient of a rollover was being quite difficult. They found out at the hospital that they had broken several vertebrae, and if we had let them get up like they wanted to, it could have damaged the spinal cord. We got a nice card apologizing to us. This is a great show, and seeing at the end what injuries the patient had sustained and how they are recovering is the best part. That farmer was one tough customer. The young boy was very well spoken and polite. Very brave.🇨🇦

I feel bad for poor Tony being asked why he came off his bike. Even if he didn't have any injuries, it's sometimes hard to figure out *why* you've had an accident that quickly

Confusion can be a sign of a head injury and she was just wanting to take all precautions in case he did have one. A lot of times adrenaline can make you think you’re alright but then once that wears off you realize you are not.

@@kimboyce312 true. My brother had an accident. He said he didn't hit his head (he just didn't remember it). Accident happened at midnight and he passed away before the sun's up. His brain was bleeding. He didn't even have a visible wound, not a bump, not even a scratch . He also still had his helmet on when he was on the ground.

33:19 Well that's a real treat. Dropping of a Yorkshire Farmer at a Preston Hospital in Lancashire. That’s GOT to be a turn up for the books.

When did it change to 2 flight crew? When I was watching Air Ambulance ER, it was only 1 pilot, 2 medics & 1 doctor. And Gema used to be with HART. Saw her in that series.

I found that gas n air didn't really work for me. I had it when I was in labour n years later when I fell n hurt my back. Maybe, it's different in Australia. 🇦🇺🇦🇺

I wish it was even an option to TRY here in the states. But all they give you here is a $40 dose of Tylenol and send you on your way.

Haven’t you folks have been metric for 50 years, why are you still talking in feet and miles?

Aviation still works in feet and nautical miles.

As a "feet and miles" American, I appreciate it. (Although, I did my time in metrics during Chemistry in college.)

Australia has been metric for many years n sometimes I still use feet n miles. Especially when it comes to babies birth weight. Lol.
