I don’t think anyone would complain with an hour long YCR episode. Longer the better
@jacobk12715 сағат бұрын
In fact some you tubers I follow doing similar content, just woodworking, found out longer compilation videos get far larger viewings than their shorter videos. A lot of people seem to prefer having a 2-3 hour craftsmanship video running than an action packed Hollywood production 😉 could be an idea, certainly for a start-to-finish for each car you do?

When I first saw this car, and the amount of it missing, I wondered if it would ever get done, I thought that possibly you would find another to use parts from, but watching you carefully replace all the corroded sections piece by piece has been wonderful, its a labour of love, but when finished what an epic car, and a great advert for your business

Damn right. Just shows you can pretty much renovate anything. I binge watched the Suzuki jeep series and its pretty much the same deal there too.

Does the laser cleaner only work on rust? asking because if it works on other stuff could it be used for cleaning the areas where you've welded saving having to wire brush, also I needed new tips and gas nozzle for my welder (clarke 270 te) and thought I'd try a tapered/conical gas shield nozzle, I find it much better for getting into tight paces/corners.

Why would the Owner bother to restore this Car being that it is so far gone? You can buy a Cosmos in perfect running condition for sub 60k UKPounds, there's a few advertised online at present. Rightfully the restoration of this basket case once finished, is not going to be cheap?

Can anybody tell me (unless it's confidential information) exactly what welding kit the guys use? (Make, model, etc.) It seems to me that the right gear to have is whatever professionals put their trust in. They've got no time to faff about; they want dependable equipment that works on demand first time, every time. Something that's good enough to be taken for granted.

Spot welds don't look bad but I do have a recommendation. Get some tapered contact tips and shroud. Will help with the porosity and getting in the tight spaces. And just regular cleaning up the almost clogged one ya use now will keep my OCD from leaving another comment.. or two..
