very good review. I got the Theos and I'm delighted. I'm looking at the Nexus Gen2, there's a lot of difference in optical quality. greetings

So are you saying the optical quality is better in the theos or the nexus gen2?

my translation is not good. I want to buy the nexus but I have doubts if it is worth it

I am considering an element scope for my next scope . I am planning on a elements range finder in the next months purchase . After watching his series on scopes and how they are made I will be buying one .

@chrisparkin431 a range finder with built in ballistic calculator that gives you a firing solution in screen , so all you have to do is dial ......how f-ing cool ! Just make sure your data input is correct or out put will be off . 👍👍👍

@ i dont actually need one, I probably just ought to have a look at one after using many competing products which were a few years ahead. I still use my Leica HB's every day and Have a Leupold LRF with ballistics too. Night Pearl just sent some LRF binoculars as well and the trusty kestrels are never too far away

@chrisparkin431 there high end one has a range of 3500 yrds or meters . I can settle with the cheeper one with just over 1000 yrds/meters . Can't wait to hear what you think of them seeing how you have already used so many good ones .

@ max range on any device is rarely realistic anyway as they don have a fine enough beam or aiming precision to actually engage a realistically challenging target so it's really just comparative between models. Most rangefinders work best on low light anyway thanks to lessening interference

Being totally honest? After ruining several "quality" optics over the past few decades ( I hammer all of my gear ) I was forced to turn to rimfire only due to the sheer cost of centrefire. Favourite optic of all time, a Sight Mark 22lr specific scope. It was £130 from Uttings four years ago. Come rain, fog or heatwave it stays bang on and is accurate out to 150 yards. Just re-zero if using supersonics, then back to subs. Ex infantry so "use" stuff, don't sit staring at it thinking "oh thats pretty" 😐

Please Chris any chance of doing a review on a Tangent Theta. I will never be able to afford one of these masterpieces, but dreams are free.

@@joeyzanne9063 they never rely crop up in my world and scope reviews don't pay anyway, KZbin are restricting monetisation at the moment for some reason or another

Nice review, but I’d be interested to know how it compares to the ATACR you reviewed a few weeks back?

Atacr is in a different league. You will notice how little comparisons to other optics and comments on optical quality of the Element stuff there is on youtube.
