-Chapter 177 and the chapters prior gave folks more of an in depth look into Yoru’s thoughts. Asa is in the middle of this fight that she never signed up for but is participating in regardless. She’s going through it while also trying to do what she can to save Denji as much as possible. -Yoru’s hate for Pochita surpasses her care for her kids the way I see it. That aside, Denji/Pochita was hilarious with the blood donation sign. Fujimoto teasing folks with the possibility of Power returning. The foreshadowing with the American imagery and the Statue of Liberty was cool too cuz Yoru has something massive in store. -Fujimoto isn’t slick with the way he’s been making Asa/Yoru pose 😂

I'm shocked Pochita was unable to regenerate his arm considering he respawned from being crushed by aging. Nonetheless he will probably kill a random devil or maybe copium will settle and the blood devil will be reintroduced.

It is a little weird to me to talk about the NPA (NRA) ...you would think the gun devil "contract" would effect all gun owners...so perhaps this is part of the "deal" Fujimoto's US made with the gun devil originally...which was through the organization itself. I'm a gun owner myself, but a majority of gun owners are not NRA members. Glad I can keep my index finger...though learning to use your middle isn't hard...I have a friend that does just that. I do like how Fujimoto drew the members...it isn't some caricature of americans...he knows our culture and divisions within it better than I thought...and he isn't easy to pigeonhole as to his opinion on things. It's easy to wave him around like a flag for your positions, but Fujimoto has a habit of defying convention. In fact war is completely absent in this world except long ago...and it continues to have plenty of evil, cruelty and corruption...something war is often blamed for.

Oh man, was this a beautiful chapter Fuji Moto was cooking with his references to Texas the United States, the US and it’s gun culture the Statue of Liberty so much so much good stuff here good symbolism I love it here But damn was that a cold ass line about children that’s probably one of my favorite lines from chainsaw man hands-down that probably just cracked my top five“children are property of their parents to be used as they see fit” damn you don’t get much colder than this right here that is wild, but to an extent factual from an instinctual level from a primal level that’s actually kind of factual. this is a wild wild chapter but yeah that split for awesome. Oh yeah it’s coming. It’s definitely coming right now. We’re in that simmering stage where it’s just starting to boil slowly. Oh my God when the explosion finally happens it’s gonna be outright delectably delicious but in the meantime, poor Asa she is going through it now

It's easy for fujimoto to make a comparison of NPA (NRA) and Texas as the face of gun ownership in America. I live In Indiana and I know a ton of legal gun owners and i know no One who is a member of the NRA. Fujimoto comes from a place where private gun ownership is privilege not a right. He lacks the world view to see a bigger picture I still love chainsaw man and respect his opinion I just can't Back it 100%. Yes Texas has a shit ton of guns and they are not afraid to use them.

Fujimoto LITERALLY makes a gun group that is a pun on the NRA…an American gun lobbyist group…and he chose TEXAS as the state in America he first showed…the state with the MOST guns in the country…that’s not me projecting anything…that’s me stating facts…part of doing a review is to look at intent…what do YOU think he was going for here with the choices and imagery?
