No. Capital offences like armed robbery and murder are the only ones that attract death sentence not someone who received stolen goods. And it is the High Courts that pronounced death after conviction. That's the brutality of military rule. Even cases of armed robbery or murder goes to lawyers for legal advice. State lawyers will look into every page and many times they advice that there is no evidence to link the person with the offence.
