Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 Episode 39 saw Askin Nakk le Vaar telling Ichigo and his friends about other Steinritters after defeating them. However, Yoruichi entered the battle out of nowhere. The Steinritter didn't flinch, but he couldn't keep his composure for long when Yoruichi activated her Shunko powers (her thunder powers). While this was happening, the Steinritter talked about how beautiful Yoruichi was and claimed that a woman's value wasn't her face, but how elegant she was in battle. After dodging Askin's Reishi attack, Yoruichi landed a massive blow and unleashed her Shunko Blast (Shunko: Raijin Senkei)

You know Mahoraga from JJK? Askin was the character who inspired his ability, and he's FAR stronger. He's very similar to Urahara in that he plays around like a goofball, but he's extremely dangerous in a fight and only becomes harder to kill as the fight goes on. They cut a scene from the anime where it is explained that Uryu had been planting reishi devices around the castle that would gather energy, overload, and explode at his command. His plan was to destroy the entire royal realm, with Yhwach and the Sternritter in it. Jugram knew what he was doing and indicated that he had already disarmed the charges (at the same time he disarmed the Gate of the Sun that Uryu was planning on using to escape the blast). It won't come up again, but that was what Uryu meant when he said that only he could end the fight (the devices would only respond to his activation signal). Also, Cour 4 is the end of TYBW, but might not be the end of Bleach. There are several novels that might be animated, at least in part, that take place after TYBW. Some content from the novels has already snuck its way in, and they could conceivably have a full 13-14 episode long CFYOW season after TYBW.

Ngl it looks like Senjimaru's Bankai is still in effect. Her first Hank, Lille was shot by his own projectile, and that became true with Nanao's zanpakto. Senjimaru's second Hank, Pernida was enveloped by black sand, he absorbed Nemu's body and her "weaponised cancer" enveloped him. If Senjimaru's Bankai is actually portraying how they die then Rukia's Bankai should kill Gerrard next cour.

I really want to know what the plan with Ukitake and Mimihagi are since they were dead by this point in the manga. I mean you could try beating him bare handed with no powers but you risk getting a Gift Ball by staying near him for so long. === The leading theory is that Gerard is some kind of golem that serves as the vessel for the Heart of the King and now you know Soul King parts can be more than just dismembered limbs. === Bleach subtitles that actually spell Visored right rather than that ridiculous localization of Vizard. === I thought they'd keep the truth about Uryu from anime-onlys until cour 4 though the manga made it much more obvious that Uryu was a double agent. === Don't worry. Lille was scattered by Nanao and is now much weaker. In fact, in the manga, Lille got off screened by Deadman Kira. === They brought Isshin and Ryūken back into the story much earlier than the manga. The only scene with them in the manga at this time was the brief flashback to Ryūken autopsying his wife to figure out how she died. === Yhwach dog walked the Bambis while asleep and without The Almighty. I'd feel sorry for Liltotto but I'm too happy watching Giselle suffer. === With 25 chapters left of the manga we will probably get about seven episodes worth of original content next cour so the ending of Episode 40 doesn't bother me. We've also already gotten the teaser trailer for cour 4 today.
