It looks so different from what it was initially. Never stayed over there. we used to camp overnight along the river when that was allowed. Then we'd go into Yosemite.Valley. Now it looks like a destination in itself.

My twin brother Dan and I love coming to Bug's for the last four years, except due to the fires last year we couldn't, and with this year experiencing COVID just wasn't in the cards this time. But, every time we journeyed here: the great dining choice of food, the wonderful people, plus the beautiful setting just under an hour away from Yosemite, is soooooo worth the time on the road and experience. I truly love coming to Bug's, which I hope can do every year of my life. I have already set up my May date and hopefully your place shall be in full operation by then. I"m thankful the fires in California this year did not come close to Bug's but I heard the smoke in Yosemite was quite bad. This place, to me, is a 5-Star hideaway and should be shared by those who need to get away or have a place to stay before heading to Yosemite. Many, many thanks for continuing to keep Bug's alive. Love you guys! Dear Caroline and Doug: my best wishes during these hard times to you both...and I truly look forward in seeing you in late May, 2021. always, Twin Dragon (The Marinas Brothers from San Francisco Area) ^_^

Booked in for a couple of days in June. Can't wait to explore Yosemite from such a friendly looking base.

Looks wonderful! Are the fire pits anywhere for guests to use? We are looking to book a private dorm room for our small family.

We're not sure - the best thing to do is to contact The Bug directly - their website is here: www.yosemitebug.com
