Yoshi's Story - How to get Black and White Yoshis

This game always makes me happy. One of the best Yoshi games around in my opinion.

Here's a secret. If you unlock the black and white Yoshis and get to the end of the game without the black and white Yoshis dying'(Easiest way is don't lose at least one normal Yoshi and don't play the black and white ones at all.)and have them with the other Yoshis at the end of the book jumping for joy around the Super Happy Tree then you unlock the White Shy Guy's ability to bring back the black and white Yoshis if they die just like the normal ones whenever you play and you won't need to get the giant black and white eggs to unlock them again.

@@slapshot68 I think that the reason is that the Black Yoshi is the oldest of the bunch while the White Yoshi may be the youngest in the Yoshi Family.

I've read in Heroes Wiki you can unlock The White Shy Guy's ability to bring back the Black Yoshi but the White one can't be. It says... "If the player loses Black Yoshi, the White Shy Guy cannot retrieve him unless the game has been beaten at least once with Black Yoshi in the party." However it's just a myth that's been recently busted. A White Shy can't save a black or white Yoshi no matter what. :(

Did you know that in Yoshi's story you can pop bubbles by jumping on them? It takes a while but if you dont have eggs you can jump on them

Did you know you can pound the ground when in super happy mode (after you eat the smiling heart) and it makes all the bubbles of fruit pop and release the fruit? Also, if you pound the ground while super happy in the presence of a shy guy, you turn him into a fruit.

Now for the first part I think I do, just didn't remember at the time because I was so young the last time I ever played this game. Second, I don't think so or I either forgot. Overall, I think I forgot, but feel like I remember so of those things and never implemented it into my gameplay.

When this game came out in the late 90s I found the white Yoshi on my own by a accident I was totally unaware they had a white Yoshi & a black Yoshi in the game. I told my friend and he told me he found a black Yoshi. He like me was unaware of those 2 Yoshi's.

Orange yes. Purple no. Someone said in the comments on another video that you have to play the game 100 times while getting all the coins and fruit in the game 100 times to get the purple Yoshi but I doubt it's true.

It's pretty much a graphical error or something in project 64 for the game. I usually go on a forum to see what the problem is. Just like how I was going to play the original SSB on Project 64 for my channel, but the shields were invisible (fixed).

I once played Mischief Makers on Project64 and everything displayed just fine til a stage with a rolling boulder failed to show the boulder that kills you if you touch it but you also have to race it to the finish if you want to 100% clear the game. Always keeps me in a paranoid state when i played games on Project64 as i hope nothing very serious goes wrong.

Have you looked at the Yoshi sign in the Japanese version of Mario Kart 64? It looks like the Mobil1 logo, except it says Yoshi instead of Mobil!
