Wow, really nice review! You mention that there are other bags doing the same thing. I love the design of my QWSTION Simple Office, especially the single strap that does ot all. Unfortunately it is slowly falling apart, not made for my kind of abuse. I wonder: Can you recommend a robust 3 way briefcase that is about 400x300x100 mm in size?

@@ThePerfectBag Thanks, I just received that one in Wildfire Black. It's an amazing bag. Only it is noticeably thicker and heavier than the QWSTION Simple Office when fully packed with the same items. This comes down to design, and because of size limitations with the QWSTION, I use every bit of space. Well, I'll see how that goes with airlines. If they don't accept it as personal item, then I'll either switch back to QWSTION or I'll have a look at Porter. (QWSTION is really nice design, but I don't agree with their choice of materials.)

Do the backpack straps double as a way to hold the bag to a rolleraboard suitcase handle? That function is a must for a regular traveller imho.

They could, but loosely - not purpose made for that function, no.

I got a good question, sizing wise what would you say the capacity is like and would you say a rigged camera + mirrorless cam would fit comfy in it?

I would say that a rigged camera wouldn't fit comfortably in this. I don't own one, but the ones I've handled would take up the entire bag and make it bulge out uncomfortably.

regardless of price, what do you think is a better bag than this? does anything top it with this many compartments, quality>?

Well, I do think there's plenty of bags and makers out there that can match the quality. I also think better is such a subjective thing that it's hard to say. For example, I like my green room 136 bags better than this bag, but I understand that most people would not. The tanker series is incredible, but also a high Sheen nylon bag might not be for everybody.
