@NAMES99 The first few lines sounds like the scene at the start of the show when he talks to Ran on the train.

Talks with Ran about her walking fearless around town, how he's indebted with his grandfather, saying he will do anything to help him, how Lux is full of mysteries and he likes that fact, and then ask her about his future (the scene of the train). "I know sometimes you can see a little bit into the future. I wanna know my future, but don't tell anyone, not even me" I think he knew what she saw, or just didn't want to know at all, but that scene was so eerily good!! Then he talks about what he wants to do in the city, in comparison with Onishi. The third part is him talking with the protagonist, or just a mix of phrases. This song summarizes really well his personality and his role in the story.

@@NonFictional-Punpun I believe Yoshii represents the Nietzschean idea of amor fati (and I would argue übermensch in general too; he's beyond good and evil in his methods and he differs from the apathetic "letzter mensch" of the surface world, etc.). He was the type to say yes to life, no matter the circumstances, accepting even grief as a fundamental part of the human condition. So, I don't think he necessarily knew his future, but he was determined to love his fate in any possible form that it might take.

To be honest; I don't see a heavy meaning in his actions. He was like Health ledger Joker. He wanted to create spectacle for himself. But what made Joker better that he did do good things. Joker bankrupted the mafia. And united people with his bomb, got away with a alcoholic commissioner and a useless judge. And removed a hero that might become corrupted later on. Which he did.

well their origin story is clearly different, joker comes from as past filled with abuse while yoshi comes from a past filled with apathy...and he didnt do it for himself only, he thought that the underground city would become incredibly stable and peaceful much like the surface and on his own twisted way he tried to prevent that by commiting these acts of terrorism so that the underground wouldnt become as apathetic and docile as the surface...i hope my incoherent rumblings make some sense

@NAMES99 I see. Basically he was trying to activate a sense of hope, struggle and determination for them. Which doesn't exist for the surface dwellers. Joker was trying to remove corruption. So that why they look polar opposite. They had different but same method.
