It's been a while since you posted something private on KZbin Yoshiki san, im glad to see you eating healthy food, yet you seem to have no appetite at all 🥺. I always wished that loneliness in your eyes would be replaced with genuine happiness, but i can feel your heart isn't free of melancholy until now 😔. It may sound weird, even so sometimes, i really wish i could be the one to take care of you ❣️. I miss your sweet and lovely smile.

I've come to love not just Japan but X Japan too. Japan via NHK, and X JAPAN through when I heard about the profound effect this band had on Masa Takumi when he spoke on J-MELO after winning his Grammy. I can admit to myself being deeply stunned by Yoshiki's enigmatic beauty in the accompanying black and white image - the one in which he partially obscures his lower face with his hands. Having had a thing for drummers of any music genre, I was amazed that such a beauty could really be a drummer who led a metal band and inspired a teenage boy to take up the drums and piano! This led me to Yoshiki's 10th anniversary classical concert at London's Royal Albert Hall last October (2023), at which I was mesmerised, moved to tears more than once and deeply charmed. I jumped up to lead the standing ovation given him there! I watched We Are X on Amazon Prime, I acquired the X/X JAPAN back catalogue of albums, including the 1992 Tokyo Dome Live, and have watched multiple videos of concerts and appearances, as well as tribute bands (including Gackt's remarkable Yoshiki impersonation while his voice heals), covers and so-called in-depth background stories, which still seem pretty superficial to me. I'm offended in the extreme when so-called journalists (Usually Western) or social media types call X JAPAN the unluckiest. How lazy and superficial their deliberate misunderstanding of others' pain! Disgraceful! All of this has led me to a few conclusions: I love X JAPAN and their music. They are a special band, East or West, who really deserve their reputation as one of the best. Definitely legendary. I wonder about how they've played live shows since late 1998, and the reasons behind the non-release of the newest album. I believe that the re-formed X JAPAN of 2007 onward worked because the late great Heath (RIP) and the beautiful Sugizo are part of the family, accepted wholeheartedly as such by Yoshiki, Toshi and Pata (and each other, of course), because they had strong connections with the original working line up, particularly the late, greatest hide (RIP), but also the late great Taiji (RIP). It is obvious while seeing a live performance that a band member never really leaves, they are never truly gone. So, I wonder if releasing new music on which neither hide nor even Taiji has physically played might just be too difficult or might never sound quite right to Yoshiki's sensitive producer's ear? After all, even after 10 years, Yoshiki had Without You in his heart and mind, waiting for the return of Toshi's voice, and Toshi's alone. Now that Heath is also physically gone, I sincerely hope that Yoshiki, Toshi, Pata and Sugizo will have the strength to find someone like Heath, like Sugizo, and continue the music like they did in 2007. It's fine to be your own tribute band to those you've loved and lost and the music you made. But what about your future? Didn't hide say that his favourite X JAPAN song was, in fact, Kurenai, that it had the most japanese fell to it? It was an X song before he joined. It's also mine (along with Rusty Nail - both, coincidentally, with the most insane, sexy and intricate drum lines short of actually having actual drum solos!! THANK YOU, YOSHIKI SAN😍) Doesn't that kinda give his permission to make great X/X JAPAN songs without him, as the heart and mother of the band? I believe that the best way forward is to admit the real underlying issue so you can move onward, no? . If I have come close to identifying even a fraction of the blockage, I hope it helps. I could just be projecting my own feeling - I'm sorry, of so. But, I will say that this music is great on a stereo, but is better played live by those who own it and play it best - X JAPAN. I'm planning to visit Japan for the first time next year. I hope to catch some Sumo and some of my favourite music by japanese artists. I know what my preference would be.....

I'm really moved by your genuineness, but I really feel The Last Rockstars will be a better option for Yoshiki at the current stage from a long-term perspective, both mentally and physically. But I do hope XJapan can reunion once for Heath's memorial concert and release a few new songs, then just let everyone move on.
