Thanx to my fans for supporting me. As you may know, now I have an ARTIFICIAL DISK (人工椎間板) in my neck. I was about to be paralyzed and doctors told me not to play drums anymore. Even though I'm still rehabilitating, you...my fans inspired me to come back to the stage. I can't thank you enough. Together let's prove "Anything Is Possible". Love, YOSHIKI ps I know.. I fxxkin know... we will release the new album, please be patient..!

I really felt the pain personified. In awe, it was probably actually painful to play, meaningful, and an emotional piece. I appreciated the additions of my favorite X Japan songs. I feel like Yoshiki really let us see the pain that was felt through performance. Imagine going through the past playing these songs in the kind of pain you went through? Such dedication to the art of expression.
When one has a gift and he wishes to share it with all I can not imagine how hard it was to stay quiet for a while till you mended. It took courage and a calling to return. I am so glad it was the right decision you made. Still, to allow all your fans to walk along with you in this inspiring path you walk please take good care of yourself. Once again thank you so much for this amazing gig and to show us you are doing well. Powerful.

I've been playing the drums for around 40 years. About 14 years ago I had to have a C6 - C7 fusion. Degenerative disc disease. I was in the US Navy Band at the time and got 3 weeks off to recover. Glad I did it but it comes with life long pain but not as bad as it used to be... good luck in recovery. Interesting solo concept.

Although I have little knowledge of you, I read your story after seeing this, and It only solidified the goosebumps I felt, watching you play. You really look and feel as though this is your element, something you emotionally connect to, so I’m happy for you, that you’re able to get to a point physically that you can do this again. Keep moving forward, you’re in this world for a reason, and obviously if you aren’t unable to play now, your reason still stands 🤘 From one musician to another, memento vivere 🇨🇦

Oh, Yoshiki, you really are something else!! You show us all what can be accomplished with hard work, discipline, dedication, and a positive attitude. You push forward with your musical creations and performances, despite the challenges of chronic pain and daily physical discomfort, because you understand how important your music is to your fans and to people in general all over the world. You show a willingness to sacrifice your personal comfort and need for rest, as well as your life dreams and desires, so you can provide an emotionally meaningful experience and at times an emotional outlet for others. You have always known that emotions are universal, and music is a universal language that fosters communication between cultures. I love your ability to convey your feelings through music. Whether it be pain sorrow sadness or anger. That capacity for catharsis makes those of us who see and hear you play feel that we can also let go of those feelings in music. Seeing Yo-chan play the drums that way is one of the things that calms me the most, besides singing or playing the piano, when anxiety invades me and my head feels stunned. I love you soo much! ❤

I greet you warmly from my beautiful country Romania [ from the European Union ]. I watch your musical activities and not only these, with a lot of admiration, amazement and respect. Sometimes I think that the divinity sent to earth certain people, angels, who through their inner beauty, work and talent, to make us earthlings better, more human and more attentive to each other. For these angels, the prize is a heart as big as this whole planet and beyond. Whenever I listen to X Japan, the depth and purity of the lyrics do not sadden me; I shed smiling tears, like " Endless Rain " and I am happy because those lyrics were conceived with love, passion and superlative talent. Love is the altar of humanity; love saves humanity. Dear YOSHIKI, your destiny is to make people happy. You are a pure soul and beyond your work and responsibilities, I always see you as an eternal teenager; when you smile, your face shine and eclipses everything around you. I wish you to be happy and loved all your life; you deserve it. Masterpieces and legends have no end; they are eternal. I'm glad you exist; stay healthy. You're the best ! Peace and harmony forever ! Thank you !
