I think a skid plate for the fuel tank is necessary on the 3rd gens. Especially because the oem one is plastic.

Yokohama Geolander AT tires are not stock on TRD Off Road Tacomas, Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT w/Kevlar are the stock tires.

THATS A GOOD LOOKING TRUCK. THOSE NEOPRENE BUSHINGS ARE NOT FLEXIBLE AS RUBBER SO VIBRATIONS WILL OCCUR AND ON EXTREME TWISTS ON SUSPENSION, THE ARMS OR EARS CAN BEND.

Nice Stance with the lift, its looking very nice. You dont see much on the ARB skid plates on KZbin Channels, guess that may change with Toyota using their bumpers for the new Tacoma. Any thoughts or impressions of them?

Build quality is nice. Only thing I wish they had was a removable window for oil changes. This build will be getting a lot more parts installed on it from ARB.

The RXT leaf pack is set the way it came. We did not add any lift to it.

What kind of mechanic certification do you have? I don’t work on cars, but I have watched enough suspension install videos and you guys are the only one I have seen torque the UCA bolts while the truck was in the air and the suspension unloaded. From my Google search you guys have shortened the life of that bushing.

Many times it is almost impossible to put torque with the vehicle on the ground. What is done in that case is to push the LCA up with a jack to create the same compression effect.

In the case of the Camburg arms, they do not use a bonded rubber bushing like the OEM does. When the OEM is removed you can see the arm spring back because of the bonded bushing. The Camburg uses 2 neoprene bushings with a metal inner sleeve, all of which have grease channels and can move independently of each other.
