I met someone who we clicked so well with. Was everything I wanted, he had flaws but nothing serious. He wasn't ready and we both wished each other the best and I cried. I cried for hours and prayed for him, prayed for God to guide him and protect him and if not me then bless him with his "the one". Then I realized how unconditionally I give so much effort and love to people even if I don't know them. I cried telling God I want to love someone that special love only in relationships.

Hi there. Unfortunately I made the experience that not even a relationship is a guarantee. A relationship also can end, even between 2 Christians. I have the same problem as you. I opened my heart too fast and too wide and made so many plans and had so many wishes with that person for my life . Now the relationship is over and even 1 month after the breakup it hurts.... I actually wonder if even a marriage could be a guarantee to be able to be loved by a person and to love freely . I think what we look for we can ultimately only find in our Lord Jesus. But it also hurts me to think that there's not this person on earth for me that I wish to be loved by.... It especially hurts that the person you wish could be your spouse one day, is not in your life anymore... And probably will be someone else's spouse...

The weird thing is, that in my everyday life, I sometimes just forget about them. I am busy and life is good the way it is. I live a very fulfilled life. But very often in my prayer time I get reminded of them. And it is not only because God wants me to pray for them, that for certain. It is that the longing arises suddenly and I only can bring it to rest by praying for them and for the plans of God concerning this... It is as if God is reminding me that it maybe is what he wants to bless me with and sometimes I am avoiding that topic because I wonder if it really needs this emotional rollercoaster that seems to be the season when things are yet to be defined.

I need prayers. My now ex left 10 weeks ago. I’m absolutely heartbroken. He brought me closer to god after I lost faith after my grandmother passed away. He was my person, my best friend. He gave in to temptation by the devil and left our family for someone else. We have a child together, i repented my sin for having a child out of wedlock. Being single for life sounds like my biggest nightmare. I would hate to grow old alone and not share my life with someone. When I was young getting married and having a husband was all I wanted, it ended up in me having not so desirable partners that if I ran into now I would shriek in fear. When I was 34 God sent me the perfect man to marry and I got pregnant got married and had my daughter when I was 35. Blessed bought a home but he was a born again Christian and I was strictly Catholic. We ended up drifting apart due to mental illness and alcoholism. We ended up divorcing after only five years of marriage. I waited five more years and we were separated he was living with his girlfriend and I was back living with my parents with my daughter. He ended up taking his own life last year and at the same time I was put in a mental hospital by my family because I think everything was just too much for me. Remember to put God first and please don’t rush it . We think we are running out of time so we rush things. I pushed the marriage barely knowing my husband. Just to end up divorced with a beautiful daughter but so much grief. Let Go and let God ~ He will give you all you need in His time. Don’t test it or rush it or you may end up like me at 54 ~ divorced and widowed and so much pain. I wanted what I wanted and didn’t serve God to be worthy of such a blessing He loves us so much He already has our lives cut out for us but be patient He may be doing it in His time and His way and you will be blessed. I understand how you feel, baby girl, but long for ✝️ beyond all else. He, and He alone, will make your path straight. I never married nor had children and at this stage (close to 50 years old now), my life is full, and I have far more peace in ✝️ than most of my married friends/family. Actually, out of all of the couples who married ages ago that I knew, only one couple is still married and the husband in this relationship is dying of a heart condition. Marriage is hard, but so is singleness, so ask ✝️ to bless your life according to His perfect will, and watch your heart & mind transform into exactly what He wants it to be like. He will keep you extremely contented within whatever He's decided for you, before the foundation of the world. That, in the end, will be the LOVE you crave and desperately desire, not the fleeting "love" of men. ... praying for you 🙏🏾✝️🙏🏾

I almost skipped this video when I realized he had created it for romantic relationships/couples, but I am SO glad I stuck it out. This is valid advice for ANY relationship where you sense a growing distance between. Sometimes God takes them forever, sometimes for a season, but stay trusting in His plan for your life, respond how His Word tells you to respond (as you understand it), seek godly counsel from mentors, and simply wait whilst you do your part, and the Lord does His. The answers will eventually reveal themselves. For the record... *I* was the problem, and He removed from me everyone except my husband for 2.5 years, so I could learn to rely on Him alone... and I am 1000x better for it. Bless His chastisement, learn from your pain, be still, and wait for Him to reveal His plan to you... His Word promises to restore "an hundredfold now in this time... with persecutions" of all you give up for the gospel. (ref: Gospel of Mark, chapter 10, verses 29-31, King James Version) God bless!

It’s not a coincidence that God highlighted Ecclesiastes 11 and the same verses and chapter in Joshua you mentioned that God led me to the other day when I was praying if I should seek my ex out telling me to “take heart, have courage, and do not doubt.” I do have a tendency to just hide in the idol of comfort and security instead of taking any risks at all because I am severely risk averse. Yet my heart still aches for my ex from 9 years ago now and for the first time desires to love her like in Ephesians 5.

Yes, feelings are unconfirmed until action takes places. You probably won't know until you try. But if you try and she rejects you, it's best to accept you were wrong and God is not telling you to be in a relationship with her again. Again, feelings don't mean much until confirmed in reality :)

Many times we get into these things because God either puts them in your life for a season, and for a reason. Other times we make our own choices and place people in our lives and God allows it (we have free agency) to also teach us. If you look back on your life you'll see there have been many times you thought someone would be in your life always and it didn't work out that way. I'm currently going through heartache over a woman that I love and who I know who lives me but she has previously been very hurt by an abuser. She decided we should be friends, for now. Be stay just friends or can we be something korey? Only God knows and I have to trust that whatever happens it ei be for both our good. God always works things out for our best even when we think we know what's best. What you WANT and what you NEED are two very different things. Does that mean you won't hurt when. A door closes,no. But you will get over it because he also sends the comforter and gives you help in times of trouble. Speaking for myself, if I love her and Vid says being her friend is best for us both x that's what I will do.

Why does this have to be about a love interest. I have real love for a girl who came to me out of a 12 step group, asking for help in a state of paranoia, came to my meeting hall then began shooting up. He father was in another state. I offered to help him help her and after 3 crazy weeks where she overdosed 3-4 times, I helped get her sectioned, and now she hates me and mistrusts me and, honestly, I think it's part due to narcissistic tendencies. Sending her to detox exposed her to everyone and ghosting me is her way of regaining some semblance of control... in her own mind. Oh well...!

This started happening after I asked God, “is this the one you planned for me to marry?.” It’s truly scary. But our hearts have to be ready first. We may think that we are ready..but he knows when we truly are. Our hearts have to be God's desires as well..living a sanctified life. God is God. All powerful..he can bring someone to us..in a twinkle of a eye when he knows that we will cherish this gift from God. We have to have the Faith to move mountains.. Keep your Faith always! If we believe in Christ Jesus only in order to receive...then we never really knew Jesus to begin with. We don't want to ever hear the words: Depart from me..I never knew you. We only want to hear Well done! my good & faithful servant. Always put God first. From our first thoughts to our prayer life to reading the Bible every day. Find a church that preaches the "Truth" & Be in his presence & he will provide your present. God has chosen someone for you that HE has specifically designed just for you! One day you will see. As long as you are happy with only God. He will bless you! Always listen to him. Do not "Let me Go". Let go of your flesh/self & let God be in control of his divine purpose for your life. God will forgive you for losing hope in a desperate moment. Please don't harden your heart to God..this is only our temporary home..our eternal salvation is the most important of all. & If you are willing to lose your salvation over a relationship then that is from the devil. God wants our hearts, minds, souls 💯 & if we place a relationship over God..then that is a idol. I apologize for the lengthy response..but Jesus is there with you every step of the way if you have FAITH in him & his power...he'll never leave you or forsake you! Even when we don't feel it or see it..he's working all things out for good. Don't EVER give up on God no matter what!!!
