Give the VR mod all the support it needs! If it gets enough polish you have to include it in the core game! VR is short on tactical shooters, Onward is still somewhat nerfed from the Quest update, Tactical Assault VR is excellent but smaller scale with simple visuals, and Geronimo has no release date.

I'm pretty sure that is a UEVR injector by Praydog. I don't know why they say that is a mod by Vehlaw... It literally says UEVR_HarshDoorstop on SteamVR window... There are already profiles that work much better that what is shown in the video. He is even using the wrong mesh to control the gun, the bullets are not going where the gun is pointed...

Having a PR style game in VR would be amazing. I've had a tonne of fun playing Pavlov's large scale maps, and those are simple in comparison. Especially if OHDS had support for cross-play against non VR and VR players. I'd be curious to know how the balance would play out cause I've never heard of this yet.

This is getting pretty cool. Only thing I would say is extremely needed is a sound overhaul. It holds everything back, in my opinion. We watch the trailers and clips and get so excited, but when it comes to the actual gameplay, the sound quality doesn't match the quaility of everything else. I know it's in early stage of development, but I think with better sounds, people would engage much more in playing and keep playing. Maybe something to consider. Anyway, great work from you guys!

I totally love this game with a passion. I was considering purchasing arma 3 after purchasing squad then came across this game. After I had played this game I became addicted I Immediately refunded squad because I wanted to switch over to operation harsh doorstop as I feel its f2p and feel as if there is more passion behind this project with no micro transactions, absolutely my milsim game im going to play from now on.

Game is awesome dude! Runs so well. I think the only thing that is missing is being able to check how much ammo is in the mag and being able to turn your head to check your surroundings. Also, can you add a region tab to the servers?Keep up the good work though 👌🤙🏽

It has place for everything as a mod. Not in the main game. But as a mod everything is possible. Also each server can put whatever mod they want even fantasy mods. In this game everyone has freedom to play how they want

The ralley points and zoom in for all guns needs to be added to the base game asap. It’s makes the gameplay 10 time more engaging. I get extremely frustrated on vanilla game modes not being able to set up a spawn near a flag or be able to zoom in to verify enemies.

NICE! The VR mod will be interesting... Hope he can fix the projectiles not fire off correctly, as they were hitting the wall next to the rifle. BTW! It's not really a VR mod. The guy is using a injector called UEVR, and it's free to use for any game made in Unreal. So don't talk him all up in the clouds just yet. He has not done any real SDK modding for this, rather launched a software called UEVR before starting the game.

I have neen thinking on really cool ideas to maybe make the experience more immersive. However, I'm worried that these ideas may be too complicated. One of the ideas to make some vehicle interactions could be animations to enter and exit the vehicles and for helicopter, you can walk in and when you look up you can click or press E to hold onto a handle or to sid down. I've downloaded and deleted this game on a number of occasions. It's gotten a lot better, but the AI are still stupid and worse yet, the awful, nonstop unrealistic popcorn sounding gunshots. That's the worst part. It's torture. No battlefield sounds like that. That being said, I want this game to continue to develop and improve and I appreciate the work and love going into this project.

@@spoike7027 play EU prime time on u777 and mafia obviously. Or, you know, try actually playing Squad, it has quite a few servers with strict microphone rules imposed from what I hear. Another useful thought experiment is to think how many years it would take OHD to get on Squad level in terms of game quality and content. I'd say 2 years at least (but likely forever)

Hey can you make it so that you can rest your gun on like windows, sandbags, barrels etc.? Like it would make the gun sway les and have less recoil? Also make it so that when you are prone the recoil is lower and sway
