I heard a humdrum video talking about the ficticious fantasy land of Tartaria narrated by Artificial Alan Watts and everyone in the comments ate it up. Watts had one of those voices that could make you believe anything to be true. Luckily for us, he used that power to speak simply of what is.

This helped me so much. I'm so tired and strong at the same time. I'm aware of what I never wanted but played along because I was told to. I'm deeply angry and taking time to see why and what's beneath it. Deep inside I want to be left alone and want to be around people that are like me. I've listened to much of Alan's contemplating for years, indeed he is entertaining and an orator of the first class. I've travelled to the far east many times taking in all the culture and ancient wisdom I could. Married an asian wife. I came to the ultimate conclusion after many years that Alan Watts is over impressed with having fun and what he finds exotic and entertaining, much more than the eternal truth which Jesus Christ offered all who trusted him. Jesus was not as Alan said a ordinary man experiencing cosmic consciousness, no, Jesus Christ was the real deal son of God telling it as it is. If you want eternal happiness in heaven the only way is via Jesus Christ repent your sins and get born again in the spirit of God read The New Testament and you will receive wisdom that Jesus is the son of God sent to save all who place faith in death on the cross and comming back to life on the third day. Have that faith and you will be happy and rewarded with an eternity of Joy ❤

I was brought up catholic mother and hindu father. So I'd like to add something. It is all a matter of faith in whatever you find helps you and comforts at the time. I find the vedanta and non dual stuff interesting and I get it, I think. But what to do in everyday life about things? Then back to Christianity I go. I think the teachings of jesus are powerful but some of Christianity I find too dichotomous. I like the Christian mystics like st Teresa ofAvila. I have felt the Eastern idea of everything being within has helped me. I had a mental breakdown and thought I was the devil. The idea of evil things being spatially outside has really screwed with my brain. And there is the idea of " God's way and our way" I believe it's all within - My way is God's way. I have to believe that now and it's helping me get some confidence in myself amd my life is improving since I stopped reading scriptures. I have joined a choir and we sing oratorios which I love. Reading the bible is not for me. I don't what to choose and my filters are screw whiff so the music amd singing sorts me out.

In the practical/physical world yes you may lack what you want but in the spiritual world the only real thing is that feeling of lack. By being aware of these feelings we can start to see where our physical world manifests itself based off these emotions. Sure when you zoom out the details seem far unattached and insignificant, but when you zoom in you begin to see everything is attached in someway and the separation is an illusion that Alan watts seems to try to dissolve in these talks
