Too bad he was part of the deceptive Fallen World, studied how to control thoughts and worshiped dark entities. What he was involved in was so bad I won't even mention it. I have forgiven him, but become ill just tearing his voice now and have burned all of his books. I am so sick of learning about how so many were secretly motivated to deceive for money and control. Conversations, lectures such as this, stirs up to understand more and better, as well as realize how much we do not know and may never hear again, or maybe never hear. Only being here fully in the moment without leaping ahead or forming a question which interrupts attention and learning from the one who shares their POV and experiences.

Plato thought the self is an immortal soul and existed before we were born. He believed all knowledge is remembered from our prior existence. A teacher(Zen master) can set forth a line of questioning that draws the knowledge from your subconscious memories of past existence which contains all knowledge you've ever retained in your collective subconscious. You don't have to fear being alone after death there is one true self, but with minions of egos experiences, knowledge.

You can't not worry - not out of some personal will at least. Firstly, you don't control your will. You don't choose what you want - that would just be expressing more 'want.' We don't choose our thoughts. We don't choose what we feel inside. Yes, those things can change, and we can learn habits, but worry never goes away. And you're not in control of it. Because 'to be in control' is a fallacy, since while perhaps we have free will, we still don't choose what that will is. Again, that would just be more 'expression of will.' And so you can, in a very deep way, let go - only because you know it's entirely not up to you. And so you also won't let go, often. And that not letting go is anxiety. And being forced to feel anxiety - your willingness to do it - it's the only thing to do in the moment. Teach yourself to be willing to feel it. And watch the anxiety transmute as it's being felt. "The mind that clings to nothing, rejects nothing" - that's you right now. Not because there's no clinging. There is - you're anxious. You're clenched inside. We all are. The statement is true because there's no mind. There's clinging, there's just not you.

What helps me to decompress from hostile or passive aggressive interactions based on reflections I immediately work on mentally, is to revisit all the right assertions I had and remembering the nonverbal cues I also gave to deescalate the tension, and most importantly assure myself that their lack of empathy or healthy management of their emotions is due to something I am ignorant about and also NOT my fault, as in, it's their problem, which I will not let affect my self-esteem.
