I’ve been seeking for years have been to opiates and benzodiazepines. I lost memory of a whole weeks time and am 2 weeks influenced by anything. Amazing things are happening to the body and the hermetically the gnostic text and Buddhist teachings are flowing through. Language is showing me truth and I’m having vivid flashbacks of old feelings. I think my ego is giving me nostalgia because the ego is fighting me.

I am struggling with an old addiction that has returned after 20 years, an addiction to prescription pain killers, I must remind myself that although it feels like I am losing everything, it is not true. I can practice my self care, meditation, focusing inward on my eternal spirit, etc and help turn away from the pills. It's just an altered state of the brain's ability to clearly reflect the Divine Spirit, it's not my Spirit itself that's affected. Yes?

When the one consciousness “knows” that it is perceiving itself from the human body enlightenment is a fact. You are not your addiction, you are the observer of your addiction.
