Hi, Thanks for checking in. Actually, I am already aware of his background, having lived in the same town as him and his associate. The music was chosen by the church music director. I chose not to mention Haas's past to him. The bottom line is, however, he contributed some great music to sacred literature.

@@TinaPersson I think you should speak up to the music director. There may be women coming to your church who were victimized by him. That is the reason why multiple dioceses have said not to sing his music and his publishers have dropped him.

@@williamtell5039 Hi, Yes, I understand your point. I am not a member of the church, however. The reason that I posted the piece, was because I noticed that there were very few postings of this hymn.
