A very nice solution, works really well! Those panels are your sunshine 😁

@Slider2732_ thanks. Unfortunately, repetitive music is unacceptable, so it will probably go into storage before it accidentally falls off the windowsill 🤔

@@GrandadIsAnOldMan Well heck, Granny needs a nice warm and very thick pair of ear muffs for Christmas! 🤣

That is a fantastic solution, you could put individual hinged covers so on very strong sunny days cover solar cells accordingly. Great project has been good watching it progress 👍 actually sliding covers would work better so you could partially cover the solar cell/s.

Even with the limited sunshine we have had in the last week or so, my wife has complained with the "continuous repetitive music". I fancy the idea of putting it in the garden in the summer to wake up my neighbours every morning, but that is probably a death wish 🤣🤣

Wonder if you put some kind of timer on it and have it play the tune once a hour 👍

@@johnwynne-qx6br Possibly, but I suspect that would not be acceptable either 🤣🤣

That panel array needs a little adjustable kickstand.

I do not think I have ever seen one of these musical devices run without a vaned governor for speed. My Donna often says , " Good Morning Sunshine ". I need this set up to play at least once during the morning. Think it would be hard to devise a single play setup ?
@GrandadIsAnOldMan12 күн бұрын
I expect you could fit an electronic timer to limit the play time.

Nice, first time I heard it at the right speed also, I have been watching the other vids at 2X speed.

I think this is the first video with it playing at the right speed anyway, it was too fast and the wrong pitch in the previous videos 😁😁
