You are my very own | Sri Madhusudan Sai

When you say to God - even just once - “Lord, I belong to you”, He will look after you as His very own, forever!
You may forget that you ever made this submission, but He will not. He will keep up his vow to take care of you and all those you love, for eternity!
Tyagaraja, a great composer once wrote a couplet that said that God is only so much as a devotee thinks of Him. So a lot more depends on us than on Him, because our experience of God is based on how we see Him.
If we look to Him as a mother, He will shower us with a mother’s love; or as a father, He will give us a father’s protection; as a friend, He will provide us with companionship; see Him as a Guru and He will guide us; and when we look to Him as God we will experience His presence within and without.
One thing is however for certain; He will always look at us as His very own. ❤️
