I love his story 💖 My mom, my world and best friend left this earth on January 8th, 2018 due to Dementia. She raised 5 children by herself and if I can say...we all turned out wonderful, successful, very happy and best of all...... just like her 😇 She was an avid lover of camping and raised us camping every summer of our childhood. She would have our camping gear ready for our last day of school and we would camp until the week before it started again. She would drive back and forth to work because she knew how much we loved it.. we continued as adults to camp with our children and my mom of course 😊 We all had our own rigs and would have the time of our lives on our family trips. These are my greatest memories to date. I'm 51 now as of yesterday and I am planning a solo journey to see all of our National Parks and more. My husband is not a camper and has given me his blessing to do what i need to do so 'm leaving Jan 1, 2019 so I will be seeing all the beautiful things I know my mom would have wanted to see herself and I plan to leave a little of her at each special place. She was supposed to take this trip with me 😊 Just her and I but now she still is but in a much different way. I'm going to sprinkle a bit of her at every gorgeous place I know she would have loved to see. So I agree 100% with getting out there NOW, I DON'T PUT IT OFF ANYMORE BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT TOMORROW WILL BRING.❤ God bless you all and please live your life with passion. This is the only chance you get. There's no coming back for a re-do and our clocks don't go backwards. So please enjoy every moment you can. 💖💖💖💖💖💖

Yes it is like a big bus and driving it and parking it is a little more difficult than a Roadtrek but I am used to it. I do not tow so that is another difficulty but I manage with good planning. Right now I am using a Thousand Trails Zone Pass, the Florida State parks and a little boondocking in between. My health is good and I will keep living this life as long as I can. Like this gentleman, I keep moving and exercise in a pool every chance I get.

Doris, good for you. I’ll be 70 in Feb and I am planning to buy my first RV next year. Is your Bounder a Class A? I think I may hold out for a Class B or C rather than buying a van and “building” what I need in it. Actually, not much building but just retrofitting some small chests I have and putting a single bed on a platform. If I get a cargo van, I must get it insulated. It is fun planning for it. I know it will be more fun once I downsize & sell my fixer upper home. Mo in NJ

I have a '90 econoline class B -similar to the RT in function. Went to Quartsite Jan 2 yrs ago and been sittin' in this chair at the computer every since. Trying to make myself get up and back in the van in the next few days and head to Key West. Stiff knees are my only problem. They're still working - just sore!
