Let's even take for instance that a person knows that they behave a certain that some other persons find offensive, it's self awareness on its own and we applaud that. The next thing should be knowing how to live and coexist with others without necessarily offending them. Find a way to accommodate others in your life and know when to put certain things/behaviors aside to be able to coexist with others. Then continue with your madness when you get to your house or family. If we're mindful of others around us, we'll be conscious of the way we do things generally as well.
