As a single mother, I will NEVER understand a woman flipping out and getting upset when a man wants to be certain and have a DNA test. Even if I had never done a thing to warrant my man doubting, and he wanted one, I’d have zero issue getting a test done. The ONLY women who get offended about a man asking for a DNA test are women who aren’t certain themselves because they’ve slept with other men…because if there’s nothing to worry about you should welcome the opportunity to shut down any doubt. Well its for two reasons. One and the one they will use out right is that you don't trust them. That is the one they actually use. The real reason is because they know if its not yours then they literally have no trust to stand on. Its why DNA tests should be mandatory, if you claim X is the baby daddy you need to do a DNA test. If he is found not to be the mother should have to pay any and all DNA tests that result in not the father status.

I don’t think that only women who get offended are women who aren’t sure. It’s reasonable to be offended when it’s insinuated that you have done something that you are not guilty of, if in fact there is no reason for the person to be doubting paternity. Some guys can just be jerks. However, perhaps DNA testing should just be part of the normal prenatal process like any other testing in order to avoid issues moving forward. This is a good option especially in states where even when the guy is proven not to be the dad, he is still on the hook for child support. That’s an unfair situation.
