Scott Gastineau The principals of the wound are great they run deep causing a lot of damage to his blood vessels and infection will set in place within a matter of minutes if not treated. His adrenaline will be the only thing keeping him alive at that point. But at the same time that is what is killing him the most once adrenaline enters the bloodstream, it increases the size of your blood vessels to allow more blood to your muscles to increase strength. During this state, his heart will also be pumping more blood to his vital organs and muscles causing even more blood loss resulting in quicker death or until his adrenaline runs out. His mind is in a cationic state his brain isn't focusing on survival its focused on whatever he's fighting or trying to protect as long as he fulfills his objective then he can die happy but intill then his brain will try and pump as much adrenaline as it can through his body.

"Coward," they called him. Before I had time to react he had reached me and grabbed my hands to hold me and pull me away. "Run! Run!" He yelled at me. "Run! Run!" And in my hesitation and weakness, we both heard the whipping of blades through the wind. Looking behind him were the four men, almost directly behind us without their swords. Looking down, underneath the lightning and rain were three swords pointed through my love and barely grazing me. His arms fell to both sides of my head, against the stone I leaned on. He moaned in pain and his breathing turned to gasping. I stood there, letting the pain and the sadness cloud me. I wanted to scream. I wanted to cry. I wanted to grab him and hold him. But I could do none of that. I could not even be sure that I myself was still alive. All I knew then was that the pounding of the rain became harder and the air inside my lungs became colder. I looked at him. He looked at me. "You are my life after death." So be it.

It was almost as if time had slowed. The sounds of war diminished as the young woman gazed tearfully at her saviour-a complete and utter stranger. Her voice came out muffled behind her hand, asking only a question, "why?" The man grunted, the swords impaled into his body distracting him before he spoke, "I...regret what I have done with the power I was given," He grimaced and his body was wracked with wet coughs, "I am, but a vessel for the gods power and I have perverted such an honor." She gasped, her thoughts flying rapidly at the information he gave her. This man was a container, one of the many who were rumored to be guarding the king and who wield amazing magical power. "I wish to give you this unlimited strength. I have done many unspeakable acts in the name of it and I think my time has come," the man gave her a hollow smile. So many questions, yet so little time; the woman was overwhelmed, "perhaps you should give the power to someone else, I do not deserve it. I don't even know what I would do with it!" The man dropped his head and with eyes full of clarity he whispered fervently, "that's precisely why It will be given to you." His hand came to rest upon her left breast, where her heart was beating swiftly, and began whispering, too quiet for the woman to hear. She felt a cooling sensation travel from his hand to the rest of her body and with horror, she realised the man was withering away. His skin pulling taut against his bone and his hair becoming thin and scraggly. She tried to pull away, but the man proved strong despite his increasingly weakening state. The man gave her his last parting words, his voice thin and raspy, "you are our only hope, I trust you will do what needs to be done." And within a few short moments her saviour turned into nothing but dust, the swords fell to the muddied ground and so did the woman.

Following the stars as her guides she encounters a dark figure. Unsure of what it is she leans closer, as her eyes begin to adjust a horride scene appears. A bloodied man stands before her with swords hanging of his back, "Hello" says Ilida in a timid voice. In a deep and dark voice the man says " I must feed..... f..e..e..d. ME!" Within seconds the vampire leaps to her and the only thing keeping him from grounding her is a old structure. Face to face she truly notices how inhuman this man is, all she can do now is hold her breath and hope for the best. To be continue...

I closed my eyes thinking I'd die, pierced by many swords, but after a few seconds I realized something was off. When I was about to open my eyes, I heard a gentle and sad voice telling me to keep my eyes closed. Unfortunately I didn't listen to what the man said. As I opened my eyes I heard a cough and received blood on my face. Terrified I quickly opened my eyes, but the worst scene ever was right infront of me. The man I loved the most, the one person I would trade my life for. He was dying right there, I couldn't do anything. I don't quite remember what he said, but all I know is that, his last words, they were like a sword cutting right through my heart. He knew I wasn't ready to let him go, but still left me after a few seconds. I knew he was gonna die one day, I knew he would leave one day. What I didn't know is that he would leave like this. I loved him, I cherished him, I wanted him to live... I wanted to live with him. I remember what he said now. That's right my mind never wanted me to remember because of the pain it would cause me. But why now after all these years. Is it because I'm finally telling this, no, my story ? Well, it's not like it matters now, right ? You still want to know what he said ?! Okay then, here it is... "Don't be sad, it's not like my life wasn't happy right ? I only have one regret. I couldn't keep your smile intact. I'm sorry. I know I'm leaving you alone, but don't cry, I'll always be with you. So smile one last time for me...okay ?" This is what comes to my mind when I see this image and when I hear this music. Sorry if there's some errors I'm french so it's not perfect. 😅

This image really captures the imagination, I had a girl in my class who told me that her ex had done terrible things to her, I wanted to help her because I thought by doing so I'd become a better person and help her overcome her depression. Going to the councillors with her and hearing her story felt like this image, protecting her for the greater good of becoming a better person but in the end she cast me aside, I don't regret helping her, but sometimes I question if doing a supposedly good thing is the right thing to do for yourself.

His hot breath fanned against her cheek as silent words fell from his lips. “Perhaps one day, they’ll understand all the sacrifices you made out of love for your people.” The woman’s eyes shed tear after tear as she tried to steady her breathing. A battlecry could be heard miles away as the woman fell to her knees - her lovers lifeless body once again in her arms. She remembered the way her mother would sing her and her siblings to sleep and so she did exactly that. A shaky voice and those of her people mourning over the death of a hero was followed by swords of enemies clattering to the ground. They finally understood what it meant to loose.

It reminds me of a great friend shielding his only hope from the Great War, for fear they would never be together they hold hands, looked into each others painful eyes, saying their goodbyes, the war might kill one but they shall forever be holding hands and always close. The boy was also a monster one the people feared, but he always had hope he would save a person, little did he know she was beautiful, he lived as a monster but died as a human for his bravery, his sacrifice, for his fear of being judged on looks and the way he was raised, but he still saved her, because deep down he wanted to show he wasn’t a monster in his final moments, met with her beautiful eyes he died as a hero, the hero that saved HER, raised HER up even though he would die in the process. Nothing could’ve made him happier.

(not related to the background image) The lone warrior stood quietly, surveying with teary eyes, the ruins of what had been a peaceful haven. There were hundreds of dead and half alive creatures, most of them dragons, littering the battle field. The poison of the enemy's arrows killed quick, leaving it's victim lifeless within ten minutes. Deur( dayOOr) knew he could not save them all, no matter how much of the Skrall potion he had, and he didn't know if his own fire would stay lit that long. Without the help of his friends who were light-years away on Earth, he wouldn't be able to do it all by himself, and he wasn't able to make a portal to get them either. It would be dangerous in his state as well, being connected to the dragons. His bat like wings and pointed tail drooped low to the ground as the pain of the dying beasts around him seemed to stab his chest, weakening his body. "How did this happen?" He thought, tears of pain falling down his face. "How did the Craehtan find us?" 2:23) His knees gave way and he sunk to the blood stained grass, moaning as another dragon's furnace went out due to the poisoned arrows. He could already feel his fire slowly shrinking to embers inside him, bringing back an all too familiar feeling. He knew if his fire went out completely, he'd freeze to death, but what could he do? Folding his wings around his frail human body, Deur painfully searched for a bottle of Skrall, downing it in a single gulp, hoping it would help him regain some of his strength. He was thankful he'd been able to avoid the arrows, which was nearly impossible, but now it's didn't really matter he thought. Without his adopted sister's Elven Magic, his fire would eventually go out. He closed his eyes, sweating from the pain in his chest, and fell asleep, the hope that fate might turn around in his favor, still lingering in the back of his mind.
