After Iraq I found that I had trouble sleeping at night. It's too quiet, too easy to get lost in my own head. I work over night as a public safety officer in a local hospital. Its better now, I can be the one to tell others it's safe, I'll keep watch. These videos have always made the long night's on watch a bit more meaningful. It's the first time since Iraq I've heard some one say that. It might be stupid but it hits in a way I didn't expect. Thanks man

It's not sulking. It's recovering. Being anxious takes a ridiculous amount of energy. You're allowed time to recoup and get yourself straight and well again. Some tools that might help out on the panic attacks. Repetition of short, positive sentences like " I am part of a species that has touched the moon, and stopped plagues. I got this." Three repetitions forwards, three down. " Then, go deep. Use these word blocks like sandbags or cairn stones. The panic comes, you speak to it. You say, I did multiple stacked bricks of 3x3x3. You gotta make your fear do the same number of REPS( AT LEAST) BEFORE IT IS ALLOWED A BREAKTHROUGH. above, below, side to side before and after. Breathe deep, use a three count. Be mindful. If the panic wants you to freeze, you project yourself into moving. If it melts the floor, use your will to fix it. If it wants you to panic and run, hold your ground. Tell it it has failed in its primary mission. It might as well talk to you, and you can figure out the fix( more often than not, it's a chunk of your subconscious. Better to fix it.) Hope this helps. Go to sleep. It will look better in the morning. If you think everyone hates you, sleep. If you hate everyone, eat. And if you really can't stand yourself, shower. It doesn't actually fix everything necessarily, but it's a great first step.

If you have time I have a suggestion/request: An hour (or more) long video of this type but it's you sitting by an actual fire (maybe some music too - equal volume to the crackling fire) giving soft words of comfort or encouragement every 5-10 minutes.
