I love the two flat nines in this… the B flat and G flat both make this song so pretty beyond words…

Not a bad lesson.. I like it more when a.person NAMES EACH keynote or chords by LETTERS ! This helps a lot! He doesn't rush it and by repeating what he plays helps also... Counting measures is also important!! Hope he does more pop songs like this kind , beautiful.melodies!! 🍎♾️♾️🍎

I like the fact that he says to play it slow to learn the patterns while he plays faster than the original song.. :)

I love this song, but the last beat in the melody in the 1st measure is a 1/16th not an 1/8th.

Folks making comments regarding subtle differences in the notes or the playing. Remember that musicians rarely play a song exactly the same every time. Some artists may play a different chord or inversion or an eigth notes instead of a quarter note. Etc. Play the way it sounds right to you. As long as youre feeling it.

I'm 80 and want to learn the piano. I don't know how to download the sheet music to this song? Teachers go so far, then leave you hanging. Music Workshop, help me out here. Thanks

You're not playing what's written in the RH in bar 1 beat 4 in the sheet music or what's on the recording. You are playing 2 8th notes instead of a 16th followed a dotted 8th note.

+Dave Wilson You're right. I mean, great tutorial, but certainly you can't play this song without that Abmaj7. I'm actually gonna follow this tutorial to learn this song, but I'll add that chord. ;-)

actually Joe Cocker doesn't play piano at all. Its his song but he just sings it

You use different chords in the first intro vs the second intro. It's confusing
