Love never dies.
This video is for myself as a memorie to my wonderful horse, Makaio.
This video is for you to remind yourself how precious every second in life is.
it´s a reminder that the only constant in life is change and that moments stay forever. ♥
Makaio will always be the horse of my dreams.
I can’t really believe that this pure heart and soul left his body.
He laid on his meadow, looking beautiful as he always has been.
The reason is unknown - no colic no broken leg or anything..
but anyway it doesn’t change the fact that his body is dead.
The connection between us has been always something magical and something I will never forget how this magic felt like.
I can’t say anything but thank you, Makaio.
Rest in peace. 🌈
He always have been the horse I have wished for. He is my storm and sun in heaven.
It sounds maybe weird when I say that he could have died after every day we have spent together and I wouldn’t regret anything. Because we have lived this short time THE FULLEST - we have lived everyday as if it were our last day together. At the same time, there is still of course the wish for further adventures together.
If you have something you really want to live and discover with your horse and if it feels right then do it.

Each video you have shared with us, have been a real treasure for me to save in my heart, because it means a lot of me talking about the love you feel with horses, my real passion since I am really really little. I’m sorry for your loss loosing a horse is like looseing family a best friend and soal mate......I hope that part of your heart will heal but will always remember the great times you had cantering through meadows....rest in peace amazing horse... it looks like you went on many fun trips and had some hard and fun and silly moments together you both learned from each other’s thoughts even if the horse can’t tell you how they feel a owner will always still know there horse better than anything in the world of horses! Ich habe gerade unfassbare Angst mein Pferd gehen zu lassen, da mir gerade nochmals klar wurde wie schnell alles vorbei sein kann und wie sehr man diese Zeit genießen soll. It is a lesson learned that the most wild character in us can and will be tamed if given the chance and opportunity. This epic story touched me in an emotional manner of which i have not experienced for many many years. Live goes on but memories and experiences remain engraved in our minds, heart and soul. Makaio was special but now he is no longer with us. we will all miss him and we will never be able to forget him. now you have a new horse in the nativehorse team but you will never be able to replace him. neither he nor anyone else. you had some wonderful adventures with Makaio and nothing can overcome it. all adventures end one day, though some end too quickly. now it's time to live many adventures. many things when they end, they forget less love. I have loved horses as far back as I can remember into my childhood and I am now 75 years old. I used to spend much of my time with them, riding them and just being close to them, touching them and their velvety noses, they were my passion and still are, it is something that will never leave me! I miss those days and long for them, I miss their nickers and the scent of them.The love for those majestic, beautiful creatures is something only an other horse lover will understand. This video touched my heart and made me cry, realizing how much I miss being around those beautiful animals. I am so sorry for your loss and I feel for you. 😢 ❤️❤️❤️

Tanja, I'm really sorry for losing your Best Friend Makaio... I know what it's like to lose a loved one. My Friend also left, only that he was a dog, I was really close to him, but I did not manage to recognize him and went away with his Brother. Its very hard to let a pet go after they have healed you and helped you learn that not everything is easy and my dog that I had for 4 years passed last year while I was at a vk in Florida and we never got our goodbye 😢💔😔 I really miss her but I know she's in a better place and I gave her the best life she could've lived .R.I.P Trixie or her nickname TT or Trixie Stick.😭😭😭
