As a life long pedestrian, in the US, I can tell you, NO, cars do not always stop when they are supposed to. I've been hit twice. Cars are always in the crosswalk when they are not supposed to be. I've had several people get out of the car to try to fight me for being "in the way" when I had the right of way. No one cares about pedestrians. There are several places in cities that you can't get to, because to only way to get there is in a vehicle, and I you don't wanna drive you are screwed. You will get arrested/killed if you try to walk on a road that was not built for people to walk on.

The big balloon tires make it basically float over the snow. The reason you dont see these everywhere is that are very slow. Thats probably the top speed of that vehicle in that clip. Basically they have the giant balloons, but because snow is slippery and spinning tires is considered damaging land, the balloons are free to move up and down on a hinge while the weight of the vehicle rests against the top of the balloon on powered rollers.

1:57 That's an egg eater snake. Egg eaters are the most harmless of snakes because they literally have no teeth. You can even see how it doesn't when it's gaping it's mouth. The bottom jaw has the ridge where the teeth are supposed to be, but it's smooth. it'd look spiky if there were teeth there, and the snake would also be holding it's mouth open wider to poise the top teeth if it were any other type of nonvenomous. Also, the reason why it might be moving it's body like that is because some egg eaters can produce a very loud and intimidating sound by rubbing their scales against each other.
