i am praying everyday for kelly and have her family in my thoughts. last year i had a silent miscarriage and then a very high risk twin pregnancy. i started listening to her podcast with christy to force myself out of bed and then to because mom said so/ dear dance mom. now after birth and dealing with postpartum depression i look forward to every week listening to both podcasts and laughing… i was such a fan of all the girls in the show with some of my dance friends when we were kids. we even dressed up like maddie in the chandelier video for a performance. and now as a mom i get to relate in other aspects and do my best while also having some time for myself listening to the podcasts kelly is at each week. i really do hope her treatment is beneficial and for her to be really healthy and strong for brooke’s wedding. if you by any chance see this please tell her that we (my husband and i) are praying for her and that she’s definitely made me laugh throughout difficulties that i’ve had in the process of becoming a mom.

Hi Melissa, I hope you are enjoying your day ! I'm a competitive dancer too but I am french, and in France solos are generally imposed choreographies before the age of 14-15. We receive a video of the dance in September, and then there is generally regionals in February and nationals in May. So, my question is : have Maddie and Mackenzie ever do competitions with an imposed choreography ? It is very boring to watch for the parents because they just see kids doing the same choreography 40 times... I really love your videos ! Maddie and Mackenzie's old dances inspire me every day and I love what they are doing now ! PS: I hope you did understand my comment, I am not quite fluent in English...

My question is: if the disputes during the Chloe/Maddie rivalry were all set up by production and everyone knew they were being set up for drama, how come Christi was still hostile about Chloe being friends with Maddie after they both left the show? Why didn't Christi forgive you because Chloe and Maddie suffered the same experience on reality TV? Was it fake for continuity reasons to make the show look believable, or did something happen off the show that harmed their friendship?
