@@bb8518my mother’s side of the family is German and my great grandmother came to Canada as a child. She could only speak English with a strong German accent. I also worked with a girl from Germany. She could get away with murder how she spoke to clients but had I spoken as gruffly as she did, I would have been labelled “rude” and be written up. I’ll also mention she was almost 6’ tall and intimidating as hell so no one would dare complain about her!
