you become what you believe? so what if I believe in god?
@nikoyaps7 ай бұрын
The idea is that you can use extreme beliefs in something to get closer to your goals. You have to be mindful of logic, sure I can believe that I'll become a trillionaire tomorrow, but at that point we are just hitting a state of delusion. However, if you set a somewhat unrealistic goal like say I'll make $10,000 tomorrow, I'm sure you would find a way to make at least $500. And if you take that as a win because you tried and made progress, then you train your brain with positive reinforcement and in turn your brain will reward you with more motivation and hunger for that success. Hope this makes sense and thank you for your comment!

This channel is such a diamond in the rough, I’m so glad I found it. There’s a very down to Earth vibe you get when you watch a KZbinr who doesn’t have anything to sell you, no social media plugs, no annoying intros, not even a channel icon, tell you about their life and give you solid advice. The fact that it’s all whilst playing Minecraft makes it feel like we’re all just vibing on the server while the homie gets real for a minute.

I'm really glad I found your channel, the first video I saw was "relationships are hard" and I just put it in my save for later cuz I've been going through some shit for the exactly a year now, and like a couple days later I'm bored, I go to watch later and remember your video. I put it on and as SOON as I heard your voice, as soon as I noticed there wasn't much editing, and that you were literally just chilling playing Minecraft, I quit everything that I was doing to listen in and pay all the attention I could give. I started balling my eyes out knowing how much fucking truth was being said, I have never in the whole year of this heartbreak bullshit have I ever felt better, ever felt over her for good. You made it possible and I just want to say thank you so fucking much dude, I really really needed that. So after I finished cleaning myself up and the video was over, I just sat there, and I just thought about her, and yk usually when I had any thought of her pop into my mind I would start hitting the fuck out of my vape, start hyperventilating, and over all it was really bad. But this time was different, you made me, for when I thought about her, feel happy? Like I never thought that would be possible, so thank you so fucking much dude. And basically after that video, I went to binge all of your other videos, and I can't help but say that you have turned my life around for the best. I really really appreciate it niko. All the love, Tj

I’ve been trying to get into a relationship through dating apps for around 4 years now with no luck whatsoever. And being a software engineer/data scientist my brain is telling me through data that I’m ugly/worthless and I feel over time I’ve became ugly/worthless even though I probably wasn’t to begin with. I’ve gotten to the point where I am sick of all the apps and I should try to find a partner in the real world, and like you said in this video I need to adopt the mindset that I’m a desirable partner and I’ll become that over time.

So on the eigtht time i was just like fuck it, i dont care about this shit anymore and just entered a sort of clarity state, about what you mentioned. Hi, good points. But keep in mind humans are imperfect and have necessities. Good nutrition, exercise, time spent in the sun, stable routine, good social connection are all factors to keep a healthy non-neurotic mindset and boost it further. A lack of basic needs can begin the spiral of depression and stagnation.

I realized this recently too, this basically comes down to actually ACKNOWLEDGING your problems (because you can't fix a problem if you don't know wtf your problem is) and deciding what YOU TRULY WANT and formulate a solution from that (what is your final goal? To be happy? Then you gotta stop being comfortable with being depressed, DECIDE that you're gonna stop thinking like that). Unfortunately this requires a lot of courage and self awareness which most people don't have so welp.

I can confirm this 100%, literally living it out right now. I am in the middle of what I like to call, "the crunch time of the homeschool deadline." I'm still relatively new to homeschooling, (started in 9th grade and currently in 10th) and meeting those freaking deadlines for each quarter was and is a nightmare. Every time I would get like 3 weeks away from the due date, I would panic over how much extra work I needed to do, and then epically fail. Last week I did the math, and I have to add an extra class to what I'm doing for two weeks. That doesn't sound like much, but that one class takes so much time. Normal me would have panicked. But instead of looking at this situation as, "oh shoot I'm behind," I'm looking at it as, "Oh SHOOT! I'M NOT AS FAR BEHIND AS I NORMALLY AM!" I accidentally proved to myself that I am growing in my self-discipline, and because of that mindset I have been knocking the first of these two weeks outta the park. Mindset is EVERYTHING. (I will update on whether or not I make my deadline so stay tuned)

Also has the added bonus of not feeling sad. However, when I'm thinking about how trash of a person I was during the day I tend to find stuff that I could have done better that I otherwise would never have found. It's a very interesting topic, because on both ends you end up doing better the next day, but I'm not a guru so take everything here with a grain of salt.

I took the SAT twice and scored an 1180 both times. Same exact score in the reading and math sections. I had planned on continuing to study and take that test until I got a score I wanted, but after the 2nd time my guidance counselor advised me to stop as it would be a waste of time and money considering I score the same twice. Perhaps that was true, but looking back now I wish I had kept going like you did. I didn’t want to give up but I didn’t have anyone telling me I could do better and I was lacking in confidence back then. Not to mention those tests also made me so nervous and I couldn’t think straight in those conditions. Everything you said was golden. Mindset really is everything. Even if I took it again, if I believed her words that nothing would change, I probably wouldn’t have improved anyway. But if I truly believed I could improve my circumstances through the efforts I was putting in, I know I could have done better. Regardless, I just graduated from college this past year and I can say how things turned out is just fine :) I am happy where I’m at and where I’m going and that’s what matters. Congrats on the 1390 my man. You’ve got a great mindset and I hope you get to enroll wherever you want to. Best of luck!
