The foolish man failed to see that I watch bushcraft KZbin religiously. I know not to light a fire as that is a dead giveaway. Only an hour of prep time, so the first thing to do is remove my shoes and dash barefoot over covered ground to try and leave as little tracks as possible. Presumably there are tire tracks i can follow if the ground is fresh/moist enough that he can find my footprints. Jumping into the river is bad for temperature regulation but good to following a source of fresh water. Presumably erasing my tracks as well, taking time to recuperate in the cave, performing improvised first aid. If I’ve followed the above steps and threw away my walkie talkie. I should have been able to create enough red herrings to evade the mongrel for at least 5 days

26:28 This is my favourite part of the video. Despite him trying to kill us, putting us in a hunting game but... It somehow feel safe and calm with him here with us. Maybe because he does say it's a 'safe time' for us and having him together in a middle of the night of a forest we know nothing about, with a freezing wind howling around us, it's kind of comforting. Nothing is more dangerous than him in this forest and he won't let anything harm us, even though it's because he will hunt us himself, it still makes me feel some kind of warmth and comfort. Oh and his voice! It's just so calm and warm, despite the content of his words. It makes me want to just sink back into him and sleep right then and there, knowing I will be safe, at least until morning. I dunno, maybe I'm the crazy one here.
