If we go to Brad's home and say to him - "We hungry, what's for dinner?", he will put on the table the things he has in his home, fridge, kitchen, basement. He will serve you a bit of respect and a bit of worth (making you feel worthy, like you mean something), some humor, some realism, and definitely not narcissism... maybe some smoke from cigars too... What you have within is what you can give to the World and those around you. It's a fundamental principle of being.

I would give my left arm to go I can afford the ticket but air fair is flipping crazy I have never flown in a commercial plane before I called about a airplane ticket out to see all of the people that have literally help change who I am as a person and to have all of my hero’s under one roof is fucking huge deal and it was gonna be like 1000 bucks round-trip from from Birmingham Alabama to Salt Lake City, and I have called and begged everyone I know for the money and I can’t come up with it and this is literally a once in a lifetime event to have this many great people under one roof it fucking makes me sick to my stomach not to be able to come

Seems like you are not fluent with fear, which is quite normal for 99,999% of people. Respect commanded by fear is the lowest form of respect because you give it for the wrong reason - fear of losing your life, which most fears boil down to in their core, all of them - you not wanting to face Death. Regardless how small or big the fear is, that's the underlying root of this type of respect. Whether is you getting slapped by your father or beheaded by the King. The highest form of respect is coming from admiration and 100% trust where you are willing to go to war and stand side by side with the person you respect and are ready to face Death together. One that the person might even hate you, despise you, not like you and yet they respect you and would go fight along side you. Also, respect has a different meaning and is seen differently by men, by women and by kids, completely differently, therefore you should NOT expect or worse demand it the same you would as from other men. It's huge fundamental mistake. That's why so many men feel disrespected by women, simply because the women don't even know they are being disrespectful. Also, responsibility induced/forced/driven by fear of negative consequences also is not a good place to start and come from and learn it this way. Because you learn to be responsible because of the fear which again is fundamentally wrong. Responsibility has extremely different role - it is essentially control and power in one. If you understand and learn what responsibility is and why it exists, and that it's not because you should be afraid not to take it, but instead of WHY you should take it and what it means - then you have true control and power in your own life - such that you can literally create it by your own image and design, physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically, including the very reality around you. Until you do do it that way, you won't access this power because you will use it based on fear and people operating on fear are in survival mode, creation is thrive mode, where fear is only a mere adviser(as naturally intended to be once a person mature) and NOT a decision maker. Responsibility should come from the understanding and realization that what you do, say, think, feel, not do, not say, not think, not feel, etc. are YOUR doings and hence you are the ONLY one who can be responsible for them. The moment you give out that responsibility you give out the control and the power along with it And so, if you take responsibility out of fear, than you are being thought the wrong way and don't truly understand both fear and responsibility. You should not take responsibility because anyone or anything will do something to you that may lead to your Death. You should take responsibility because that is the ONLY way to be the control and have control and power in and over your OWN life. Quick edit: If you understand and realize, and take responsibility properly and FULLY, once you face Death you would not be afraid of it and you would definitely NEVER experience REGRET(only present when responsibility is not taken), because you would be in a position where You had the full Control and Power over your OWN life, over the things you had real control and power - yourself, your actions, reactions, inaction... hence leaving 0 space for anything else but OWNERSHIP of your life, that says - This was all my creation and I take full responsibility for it and it was epic.
