As well as discouraging Illegal Immigration and having Legal Immigration halved, the other thing this Govt could do (but won't) is put a Moratorium on handing out British Citizenships. 202,000 were handed out in 2023......15% UP on 2022. Why !? Once you've given someone Citizenship they can't be "sent back". The rules on this need to be much much stricter.
