Soft-shelled Crabs are available here in seafood restaurants but I have been reluctant to try them because I did not know what I'd get! Now I will try the next time I see them on the menu.🦀 I like your T-shirt!💚 I have wondered about Suzu-chan's paws. Thank you for the explanation. Thank you for the English CC's. They are excellent!👍

I am still watching your older episodes. This episode of soft shell crab is my favorite. I use to catch blue crabs in the gulf of mexico and fried soft shell crab are truely a delicacy! I will try your batter technique next time i go fishing. Thank you for a lovely episode.
lt's so amazing to catch 3 big crabs at one night. l always give 4C ---->catch, cut, clean, cook to describe such a procedure, but l wanna use a French word "Cuisine" to take place of "cook" because it's outstanding. Salute you Chinuko. Only few can do as well as yours.

A method to catch crabs using a string and a piece of raw chicken (ex: chicken neck) 1) Tie a piece of string (~2m) around a section of chicken neck. 2) Tie the other end around a stick. 3) Poke the stick into the ground and throw the chicken into the water. (Repeat several times so that you've got a number of lines out). 4) Wait. When a line begins to move or becomes taut, a crab probably has the chicken. Gently pull it in - the crab will be too greedy to let go of the chicken. Have your net in the water already and pull the crab toward it. Scoop from below if possible. Occasionally I would get a turtle on the line instead of a crab, and once I had an alligator eat the chicken. That was terrifying.
