You Can Get On Air For Less Than $10, With The Pititico II CW Transceiver

I always loved the Pititico CW Transceiver designed by ‪@py2ohh‬ and wanted to incorporate an audio amplifier in the circuit. This way I could use regular headphones. Here it is finally working like a charm. You want to get on air for cheap ? I think you can build this for less than $10.

Hi, Very nice to see such minimalist projects which can be repeated in a few evenings. I also like the idea when you with minimal set of components are able to perform real communication =) and this sound like magic comparing with self-phones right now =) Offtop: when I was a child, there was a serial when different scientists were left on abandoned part of world and they should in given time say location. What was most inspiring for me, that one scientist build very simple AM receiver from pen, paper and etc. Probably this memories is partially influenced to my current hobby =)

I usually have the bad habit on complicating things. Lately I started the other way around... the simpler the better haha. ( not really better but for sure is fun ). I also had in childhood some similar films that I used to watch and inspired me. 73 Yury... have a nice relaxing Sunday.

I hear you on that. I do have room for the antennas... but not the path to run the cables in the house. When it comes to space... all I have available is that desk )) ... for filming the videos, building all stuff there... and it also doubles as a desk for video and photo editing jobs haha. Great work Bro. Can you redesign this circuit to replace 7.030MHz crystal to LC circuit and add AM modulator for voice. 73❤

Because of the simplicity of the circuit.. it won't work with LC instead of crystal. It would but it would end up being complicated using way more transistors. Then it would no longer fit the idea "simple TRX" )). Then the AM modulator even more parts and you end up with something so complicated that is noth worth the time, because there are already schematics out there for that )). 73 buddy.

Hehe da da cu lowpass filter inca mai sunt ceva interferente. In varianta mai veche ( cea dupa schema originala a lui Miguel ) am folosit bandpass filter. Doar ca scade un pic puterea si apare un chirp. Am modificat cablajul ca omul sa poata alege ce varianta vrea. O sa explic mai mult in articolul de pe blog. Sper sa am vreme astazi sa scriu ceva. Acum mesteresc la el sa vad cum sa-l fac sa mearga mai ok si cu bandpass filter si sa nu pierd asa multa putere 😁. Partea buna e ca nu se mai aud interferentele pe fundal cu bandpass filter. Era Radio Romania Actualitati 😅.
