Ryan! I found a cool wireless fence for the pooch. Check out “spot on”. Looks pretty good, works off of gps instead of a buried wire. Walk the boundary with the unit to set parameters, save and your pup is free to roam inside your set boundaries. It uses a collar so….. it’s an interesting choice. Good luck!

Nice Ryan! MIca powders mixed with the epoxy make the pour interesting. Vibration will bring the bubbles up. That new sander laid upside down should do the job. Although it may take awhile. I did this once pouring pen blanks. However, the desk looks just beautiful. Glad your back is doing better.

What I have found works well with notty cedar is a sealing coat using an acid brush for the deep holes and a foam brush for the top surface. Do this first, let it set, then do your top coat pour spread with a spatula and let it self level. Use a heat gun to remove bubbles. I really like your channel. Keep up the awesome content!

Great thing about epoxy is that you can sand it down to fix any rough spots and apply a thin layer and the repaired area blends in. What did the instructions say about UV protection? Does it need a UV protecting topcoat? Desktop looks great.

I have wood counters and tables and have lived with them for years. You need to do moisture test on the wood so you don’t get any white fogging on the epoxy. You need to seal both sides to stabilize the wood. Top should have several coats of epoxy, sand between coats. At least wash the blush off the last pour or you won’t get proper bonding. Sand the top down to 250 and then put coat of floor varnish over the epoxy to protect it from uv even inside. You can then recoat it every couple of years to get rid of the scratches. My counters are now over 10 years old. That old palm sander makes good vibrator for concrete. When you do large surfaces a window squeegee works well.

Please install the gutters, which you absolutely need to prevent water damage, avoid soil erosion, prevent mold and mildew, and protect landscaping around your home. I would spend the money to put a downspout into a rain barrel at the corner of the house. Then use the water to water a garden, or water planted sugar maples to make maple syrup, or any plant that would benefit your family. You would get your money back for the price you paid for the gutters in no time. Get a food grade rain barrel BPA free with spigot that you can hook a hose to. I would get the Micro-Mesh Gutter Guards, or something similar. I wouldn't cut corners when it comes to gutters. Water will be a powerful enemy to your house, and, without gutters, it will erode and damage you home and landscape around your home.

Even cave men had a flat surface to place their Dino burger on. I see a lot of you tubers using Ryobi tools. Are they any good now? I tried them years ago and didn't have any luck with any of the ones I bought.
@noyopacific3 ай бұрын
I’m satisfied with my Ryobi tools. I settled on Ryobi for cordless tools about 10 years ago because I wanted to use a single battery platform and Ryobi had a good selection and seemed like a fair value. I sometimes abuse my tools and expect to break stuff once in a while. Ryobi has exceeded my expectations in performance, durability and value. Sometimes I get aftermarket batteries which never perform as well as the OEM batteries but can be a reasonable value. A few years ago I decided to power my ice fishing auger with a cordless drill. Almost every video I watched they were using Milwaukee drills and often claimed that they were the only ones up to the task. I got Ryobi’s highest torque drill and found it could drill a 6 inch hole through 22 inches of ice in under 10 seconds. This is “good enough” for me.
