Moments that makes me smile uncontrollably during this interview. Their chemistry is so infectious gaaahhhh and considering they're both gae and out just makes the chemistry in the film so moving 54:23 Anwen squirming and just agreeing to June's answer (so cute) 1:03:23 June laughing at Anwen's yeet the baby gesture (and also Anwen's flirty reference to Jamie and Marike going to Europe) 21:21 Them being nervous with each other during the chemistry read, flubbing lines, goes to show they have chemistry right off the bat even before getting into character of Marike and Jamie 22:13 Them complimenting each other. 22:51 June looking up Anwen's profile online and Anwen's reaction to it (so cute) 49:39 Them both giggling after hearing the question whether if they did breath during the back hug scene. I saw the movie yesterday and it was so intense and sweet at the same time. I was drawn emotionnaly, I laughed, I cried, at some scenes I had difficut to breathe. This movie was a masterpiece. Thank you for your great work to bring us a beautiful and powerful romance movie. The chemistry between June and Arwen was incredible.

This is the first LGBT film that I REALLY LIKE because the story is unpredictable, starting from the clip Marika invites Jaime to pray after Bible Study then Marika kisses Jaime, Marika doesn't want to be held her finger to be honest in this scene I was a bit surprised and asked the truth That's what Marika wanted, after that scene I was very happy with the scene where the scarf was left in the car and Marika delivered the scarf to Jaime. Honestly from beginning to end I really enjoyed every part and moment of Marika & Jaime but there are 2 Moments that make this heart feel very warm, namely the moment where Marika takes Jaime to the toilet in the cinema where Marika hugs Jaime from behind and smells his body Jaime, I know that this moment was there on the first night Jaime stayed at Marika's house, only I felt more In the moment In the cinema toilet, the second moment that made my heart very warm and painful was when Marika's father announced Marika's marriage, I know this is just a movie but my emotions carried over to feel what Jaime felt. And at the end of the story, the audience was given their own response "how is the end of the story of Marika & Jaime I really like, maybe there are some who give responses like hanging the story but I think it's very good so the audience decides for themselves how this story is told. take it up to the audience. I will always wait for your next work, I hope the theme of the story is still about LGBT because it's very rare that I like LGBT stories, there are indeed some good LGBT stories but that doesn't make me watch it many times and this is the first LGBT film which I watched more than 5x, a very rare moment, for me who is a bit picky. For June & Anwen I really like you two, you guys are really deep into your roles like it's not in a scene but real, I hope you can meet again to play a movie together.

This movie breaks my heart in a thousand pieces but in a good way. It pushes so many buttons from my coming out as an evangelical Christian. At the same time I feel joy that the characters had a chance to experience this kind of love.

June Laporte seems SO lovely and sweet, also Anwen too. I can just sense that they both are kind and genuine souls. So happy to see two actual queer actors acting in a queer romance. I found Junes acting especially powerful and emotional in this film, it’s why I’ve been so drawn to coming back to watch it.. Well done everyone who worked so hard on this film!! You guys made a work of art. Also we need sequel of the girls throwing away (or taking) the baby and travelling ti Europe together 😃 I hope this film gets the exposure it needs ❤ can’t wait to someday buy the film when it comes out in Australia!

Beautiful film and especially love the chemistry between Jamie and marike. As much as I enjoy a slow burn relationship gradually intensifying moments of love I was totally blown away by the marriage announcement 😳 That break up scene and especially the ending car scenes were so emotional. Marike had an overwhelming sadness in her eyes, flooding with regret, at the same time still pining for Jamie, had me shook. Amazing acting ability got me all in my feels ❤️❤️❤️

I can't count how many times I've watched this movie, I never get tired of watching it, I hope there's a part 2 about what happened to them when they broke up. I think Marika was no longer happy after they broke up and I also want to know if after Jaime told Marika "not gonna let me go" and Marika shook her head, did they get back together? there are still many unanswered questions in my mind. please we need part 2, I can't get over to this movie!!

I know most people who've seen this film didn't like the open ending, but I actually liked it. I watched it about 3-4 times already in a span of 5 days. I love the story, June and Anwen's chemistry is just unbelievable and their acting skills is on point. I also love that scene where Jaime and her Aunt were in the car and she said she still loves Jaime no matter what and that she wouldn't think that Jaime is dead like Marike's family did to her Mom. Nate is definitely my favorite supporting actor from the film, he was such a great friend to Jaime, but I'm disappointed that no one was there for Marike who she can talk to about Jaime. But at the end of the day I still love this movie, definitely on the top list of my all time favorite lesbian film. I'm grateful for the actors and the whole crew for making this film ❤🏳️‍🌈

Watched the movie just now and I must say, this is a prime example why Christopher Hitchens was right when he titled one of his books "Religion poisons everything". Don't want to spoil too much of the movie content, but what's the message it leaves behind? What could have been a perfectly happy love story becomes for religious reasons two unhappy girls, one of them even starting a family while waiting for a new world that's not gonna come. What I take away from this is, I can be really happy I live in an environment where religion is entirely meaningless and for those pitiable people who are brainwashed to an extent they don't even want to have a life without religion, I guess there's a quote by Albert Einstein that describes it best, "Stupid ideas do not get corrected, they die out".

Fuí Marike hace varios años atrás 🥺 me encantó la sutileza en la que fue demostrando su afecto y amor a Jaime, su forma de "fingir" u ocultar sus sentimientos, fue tan profundo que hasta Jaime dudo del beso que le dió. Pero hay algo que noté, también existe un vacío emocional de Marike por su madre, que tal vez la lleva a enamorarse de Jaime al sentir ese afecto y compañía femenina, he conocido chicas en esa situación, la falta de afecto maternal las lleva a sentir y dar amor a otras mujeres. He mejorado la relación con mi madre,pero ahora siento que soy bisexual a pesar de no estar enamorada de ninguna mujer, lucho contra eso porque como dije amo a Dios primero que a todo y sé lo horrible que se siente este personaje.Qué tal película sinceramente, qué fuerte.

@@holis2242 Me ha servido experimentar lo que se siente una relación con una mujer, puedes probar, vive eso, para que sepas como te sientes y si realmente te gusta. Entiendo lo que dices del ámbito de las creencias, porque pase por lo mismo, nací en un hogar cristiano, pero te digo que solo probando entenderás y tomarás una decisión más tranquila sobre lo que quieres. En mi caso, creo que ya superé esa etapa, y ahora solo lo veo como una atracción sexual y no emocional o de sentimientos. Un abrazo 😊
