I love the lantern designs. The last one might be the "easiest" but for those of us without fancy machines, it's not an attainable result. The first two are excellent ideas for beginners and very attainable, result-wise.

The vase is such a clever idea. I love it. Thank you so much for that tip. I did the first one using the vase, but in order to get wood slits, like you used, it's kinda pricey, because we don't have wood like that at our Dollars stores, so I used Jenga blocks. It came out really nice, but not as nice as yours, of course

Hey Bonnie, They were made with 0.24" slots, but if you have Illustrator or some SVG editing tool, I made the slots a separate layer so you can adjust them or the kerfing. or email me and I will adjust them and send the files to you. ~garrett
