As soon as I discovered this mod on the repo I was excited to see you cover it! I mapped L3 (push left thumbstick) to activate/deactivate, and up and down on the stick to climb and descend. To map the stick correctly, you will need to set deadzone to 50% (I set it to 55%) and invert one of them. Which one is down to your preference whether you want "up" or "down" to be climb. Your Wydra experience went much better than mine. Mine just exploded on instant of activation. I got about the same results from a T-Series Car Hauler/Rollback, with the added fun that it was literally shaking parts off. It might be a little more stable if you only had one rear axle. Additional experimentation required. I think the big problem is that most configs are so front-heavy, and also have excess thrust in the back via having two rear axles.

I think that the reason that the t-series didn’t work was because it had two sets of thrusters in the back as opposed to the one set in the front.

This mod also works with a lot of mod cars, including Automation ones. Granted not EVERYTHING will work properly, but most do. Imagine the possibilities with that.

Dude, the T-Series is unstable for the same reason that the 3 wheels Pidgeon is: unmatched balance of propulsion. The mod doesn't seem to take into consideration the gravity center of each car and even looks like it's cheating balance by some way, but the propulsion does come from the wheels themselves. Therefore, you don't instantly front flip with the semi that have twice the flying power in the back with all the weight in the front. But it wants to.

I wonder why the creator of the flying mod not have taken into account that some vehicles have an uneven distribution of wheel pairs. For example, vehicles with two pairs of wheels at the back and 1 at the front get double the lifting force at the back which makes it flip over forward.
