The reason why Mount Everest sees snow is because some rain clouds (especially light rain clouds) can, in fact, reach high enough and make rain, or in this case snow, even in places like the summit of Everest. Also, the reason why snow doesn't keep building up on the summit since temps are always below freezing is because strong winds (sometimes over 100 mph) blows a lot of the snow away. Furthermore, the sun's light can sometimes cause sublimation to occur that causes the snow to directly turn into vapor.

4:03 As a French person who lived in the US as a kid, I liked Halloween, but the mass commercialization of this stuff, with corporations trying to shove things down our throats for weeks or months was a pain. Trick-or-treating was fun, but decorating your house, seeing the decorations at school and finding a good costume were what I enjoyed the most. It actually did take hold in France for a bit in the 1990s, but then it wore off because of anti-American campaigns saying it was US imperialism trying to export itself to our good traditional France. I don't think trick-or-treating could work here anyway, people are too suspicious to let their kids out at night or to open their doors and give candy to people.

Please go to Iceland. I went there last week, and it is THE BEST place I've ever been to! You could take the 14hr South Coast day trip, where you'll cover the diamond beach which has black sand, Vatnajökull (Europe's largest glacier with an area of 7,900-8,100km^2), Skógafoss (one of the largest and one of the best waterfalls in Europe), Foss á sidhu (another waterfall), a canyon, and even the northern lights! You could also go whale watching and do all sorts of good stuff.
