My other favorite part of your tutorials is your background music/noise. It always conjures an image of you in a piano/coffee cafe on a side street off the Champs-Élysées in Paris. Great Video Calvin and very pretty color palette! I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one tracing. 🤫😁 The proportions on my freehand sketches tend to be way off. I find it way easier to do a rough basic outline off of a photo and then adjust & refine like you do.

Your illustrations and tutorials are the highlight of my days… it’s almost like the best warm up or the best drawing prompt which not only teaches but also makes you feel so nice. I love how you simplify the most complex things and make them so easy and basic to implement- (the leaves were amazing, and I’m totally applying this to my hair illustrations too to create a cut) love love and thank you - you definitely are the spark joy of my life, when your tutorial drops I’m glued to the tv and my husband if he sees me there says oh new tutorial from Calvin!!
