If you knew squat about music production, you'd know that the EGOS are huge. Those types don't get Jealous, because they believe they are The SHIT! Try listening to better quality music and bands, and then edgamacate your self by doing some research. Check out any of these; Todd Rundgren. Tedeschi Trucks. Daryl Hall, and the legendary Muscle Shoals, where Musicians and Producers alike, all agree music magic happens more often there, than any other studio.

I had a similar experience at the 1st show I saw TTB in Vancouver, years ago. Afterwards, outside of the venue, she was so friendly, humble and kind. Signed my TTB poster and seemed sorta embarassed at my slightly gushing compliments, saying something to the effect of Derek getting all the after-show crowds. What a bluesy soulful doll. Before the show we were outside smokin and hung out with back-up vocalist Mark. Also a humble kind soul. Next time I saw em I was in the 5th row, last year, at the Queen E Theatre, I was in row 5 - epic performance! Love this band!

You're absolutely right! The first time I saw Derek Trucks in concert he was the very young age of 16. I saw him in Greenville SC in the summer playing with Greg Allman. All I thought was WOW! He is channeling Duane big time! What a great show. Just a few short days later I went to a small night club in Augusta GA and there Derek was playing a solo concert! I had chills just being there seeing him at such a young age and I knew I was seeing history in the making! So glad I was able to see him at such a young age and glad he is playing with such great people now and carrying on such a great heritage. Can't say enough about Susan too! What a great combination they make! Just wow, wow! Nothing else to say!

I saw Derick Trucks for the first time I think around early 1990s. He was only 16! It was in the summer early 90s. In upper state SC balloon/rock concert. He was playing with the Allmans. He is Butch Trucks' nephew. I'm thinking to myself: Holy crap! He is channeling Dwayne Allman the way he was already playing blues/slide guitar at that young age!! Who does that? That was a really great weekend that I won't go into details now, but exactly a week later I was at a small nightclub in Augusta GA and there Derick was playing there as a solo artist. I wanted to greet him at the end of his set, but because he was still underage, according to GA laws, after he was done with his set for the night, he was not allowed to talk to fans, or sell/autograph any CDs or whatever. But I was very impressed with him as a teenager with his musical ability! I'm even more impressed now as he has become a really great musician and I'm glad he has married and is performing with Susan Tedeschi! They make such a great team musically for a good many years now! I think his uncle is really proud of him! I know I am as a very avid fan on all the original Allman Bros band since around 69!
