Holy Dooley! You made the discovery now. Dob in the other Aussies. TTB is just fair dinkum. Doesn't get anymore Ace! Spark up the mull and enjoy! All the Aussie slang I got today. I'm no dux, just watch to much tv. Catch you later. To much? Seppos you say?
They were in Byron couple of years back, and on those great Crossroad concerts with CLAPTON.!👌🏻

They've gone on record as saying The Mad Dogs and Englishmen tour was pivotal in forming TTB. That falls in line with the earlier reference to similarities to Delaney and Bonnie and Friends. Lots of musicians were part of both bands. It's lost on too many people how influential Leon Russell was during this time. He put so many musicians together with other players that would likely not have happened without his direction.

My good friend Mark Stead first turned me onto Susan's second album in like 1998 and I loved her of course. Mark was a great drummer, we were in a band together at the time. A few years later Derek married her and at that time Mark and I were working together full time 40 hours a week. We talked music for hours every day. He said "Just wait until they start a band together.". In November of 2005 Mark was killed in a car accident coming home from a gig. Within a week of the first TTB Album I went and played it at his grave site. He Knew they would be special.

It's not in Derek's nature but I'd be trying to steal O'teil back from Weir and his boys. I suspect he'd be back immediately if the money was even close.
