I have been thinking the same thing.. seems like some of these guys bring it to the dyno and needing the regular maintenance done before they can even be dynoed haha.. itd piss me off if i knew i had a bunch of cars lined up to tune but at the end of the day they are probably charging these shit turds by the hour anyways haha so if they want to spend a thousand dollars on a tune sesh or more then so be it 🤣

Man I was always told to triple check everything before going to the dyno so that the car is ready to get on it and you aren't wasting the tuners time. Just seems like a lot of people that go to PFI are not actually ready to get their car on the dyno. I know some happened while it was there but jeez that was a lot of hunting for issues.

IDK, my car is mechanically finished but I would love to have these guys give it a proper shake down and a tune. It’d be well worth the money.

@@negativeindustrial it's just about what expectations you set. If you tell them it's running well no leaks etc then it should be ready but if you need it looked over and maybe a couple parts swapped or checked then you need to say that to the tuner so they can schedule accordingly. Busy tuning shops lose money if the dyno isn't rolling while the car is on it

The minute Jamie said the speed sensor wasn’t plugged in and had no connector I thought that was going to be this issue. But I forgot this is an old setup… Just dealt with this on a K24 Element. Someone forgot to put the Spacer behind the Output Shaft speed sensor so it would immediately get destroyed every time you start it and throw a P0122 and P0107 (TPS and MAP Sensor) with no power to the Output Speed sensor connector. And it ran like shit. After 2 speed sensor and lots of research I found the spacer at the junkyard off a accord. Installed it, and it fixed how it ran but the Speedo still didn’t work… And it wouldn’t go over 4k rpm. Playing around with it in the garage for hours somehow figured out the spacing wasn’t right on the sensor. I had a 2 mm spacer, I installed it and it fixed everything… Now she’s Banging gears at 7500rpm!! Love your videos keep it up!
