You want to really understand how deep that flip was 1:52 - 1:54? "I'm a Don Yan Ying on a Yin Yang Thing". A Don is a mafia "Boss" Yan Ying was a Chinese philosopher described as "by far the most creative thinker of the Chunqiu age" 578 - 500 BC. Ren's message in his music is very Yin Yang which is balancing the dark and the light, good and the bad, very Hi Ren. The thing with Ren is, you can't just say he's making words up just to rhyme and keep the flow consistent with words that are meaningless. Unfortunately today's youth has limited knowledge of history, English language, & World events in general, but if they keep up with Ren's music it'll increase their knowledge & vocabulary.🤣🤣.

Grime rap in the UK is basically a mix of EDM and rap. Ren's band, The Big Push, has a medley called I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop on their channel. There's actually a 4th song in there, that's not listed, called Through the Night by grime rapper Bugzy Malone. Since Ren integrates the chorus into the medley I'd assume he's a fan of that style. Yeah, valid point about this song having an unusual beat for a rap song. It's kind of like what Ren did with 'Losing it,' but of course in that track, Ren rapped over a exiting hit EDM track. I've seen a few reactions from more mainstream Rap fans be really surprised with the beat on Losing It, some didn't even appreciate that one.
