Man, Alex's thing about going to McD's after a hospital trip unlocked a core memory of when 6-year old me got knocked out and had to get stitches on my head (fell off a fence I was sitting on) and I will always remember on the way home, stopping at a 7-Eleven and grabbing a Slurpee and a baseball magazine. I even threw up afterwards, although it was in the comfort of my own home 😂

Alex talking about wisdom teeth surgery and McDonalds reminds me of how when I had my wisdom teeth taken out on the way home we stopped by one so my mom could get me a milkshake. While I was waiting I vividly remember sitting in the passenger seat petting a cat. We don't have a cat. I was petting my dad's arm. I was still feeling the effects from being loopy.

I remember watching the early vlogs and how Alex was the sarcastic friend that always kinda gave Stephen a hard time but he was "the best character on the show" so I found those moments super entertaining :P him taking care of Mal and his policy of getting the milkshake, totally awesome. I can totally get behind that me. Me, having my wisdom teeth taken out wasn't fun. I"m generally not good with surgery so I was sick for a couple days after. That's when I kinda learned I'm allergic to codeine... so for pain, other OTC stuff like tylenol or whatever worked just as well

Alex was likely joking about having 12 wisdom teeth removed, but it’s actually a real (albeit rare) thing to have more than 4 wisdom teeth. It’s an evolutionary leftover from before we had dental care, humans had more than 32 teeth and the extras would replace whatever rots out of the mouth. I had three extra teeth myself and had seven total teeth removed in my wisdom tooth surgery.

We had a local milkshake place we'd go to that does the BEST chocolate peanut butter milkshakes you've ever had in your life. They are THICK and DELICIOUS.

I've a friend who had all of his wisdom teeth removed in one go. I didn't even know they allowed that, but apparently he convinced the surgeon to do that. He ate nothing but liquids for 2 weeks. And only one milkshake, by Alex's logic, such an unfair world.

I had all of my wisdom teeth out in one go as well. I had to eat liquids for 3 days, then soft foods for the next two weeks. What's funny was we had a school Olympics on the first day back from my wisdom teeth removal (3 days later). I won a gold medal in an event with puffy cheeks. Luckily, I never got hit in the face.

Also had them out all in one go. The liquid diet wasn’t too bad. By the end of the 2nd week I just really wanted to chew something solid. My first solid meal was KD that I essentially just swallowed like pills.

I didn’t get my wisdom teeth out either. Only one of mine have even come in completely and I was told not to worry about them unless they become a problem.

Alex is so right. Always go for ice cream after medical appointments! Even after I got vaxxed I used it as an excuse for a Blizzard. (No straws after Wisdom teeth surgery though!!)

I wish there was a Culver's in my area. My dad introduced me to it during a trip to Pensacola Florida while visiting family, and then a few years later I visited a friend with some other friends there and of course we HAD to introduce them to it to. Now I do not have one in my area and I C R A V E.

My Wisdom teeth were coming in side-wise at 90 degree angles. Before they came out - I started getting pain in jaw. If we did not remove them, then they would have been impacted and caused an infection. After the teethes removal, I spent three days eating nothing but vanilla ice cream due to the soreness.

Got my wisdom teeth out two years ago. Then, me and my dad went to Wendy's to grab a Frosty. It's a better choice than McDonalds because Wendy's offers you a spoon to go with your Frosty. I was... out like a light in bed afterwards. 😅

I haven't had my wisdom teeth removed as well. I don't think a single one has come in however, I had to have a lot of baby teeth pulled because they just wouldn't come out as well as four adult teeth to make room for other teeth because I had (have) a really small mouth.

Mal has played Moon, and they've actually talked a lot about wanting to bring it to the channel someday. Mal would probably make her own guide to it similar to how they did the Chulip lets play back in the day.

You have such a good sense of humour. I would have honestly been pretty pissed if I switched my entire schedule around so that Mal didn’t have to listen to the stream only for Mal to listen to it anyways. That’s probably why you’re married and I’m not lol.

I also haven't had my wisdom teeth ripped out of my mouth. 😌 Tbh the only serious dental thing I've had done was repairing a lot of teeth when I was six because I faceplanted onto asphalt and uh. Well. Smashed 'em. The only thing that really hurt was the swollen lip. 😂
